Haha. I think you’ve been living under a rock. So many posts on roaming already.

Just ported in via an Authorized Dealer today
Just moments ago, my SIMBA sim just got activated
However. I can't log into My SIMBA App with my existing number that starts with 9xxxxxxx?

Do I have to wait for a few days?
No.

I ported in yesterday afternoon from circles life. Simba started working after 0800 hrs today but that's when I woke up. The app said it went operational after 12 midnight

Owner very arrogant, on fb with that long ass telco named group that will ban you if you have differing opinions.
Probably lurking in HWZ too. lol

oh this fb group terrible one. Super not friendly.

Yup, all you see is mostly request you to do speedtest and post screenshot results. go here do speedtest, go there do speedtest, travel overseas post speedtest...

simba is best liao. free 1gb overseas data for use with 50+ countries. if exceed about $4 per gb which is cheaper than singtel. can receive sms and make local voice calls when overseas.

Agreed with you to the max! 😙

Beyond the free 1GB Roaming data. $4/GB - charge per 10MB block is quite reasonable and that we usually don't use too much data while overseas! :)

I just signed up a $10/100GB/1GB Roaming Data plan, picked up and activated my SIM card over the counter 1/2 hour ago and waiting for porting tonight! :)

MY130 Plan: (Exclusive online)

At 11am, I done my registration through online.
At 12:20pm, I went over to Orchard Central to collect my activated SIM card.
Now porting is in-progress and let's see how long is the porting process.

Well! at about (tonight):

2300 hrs: Current telco line will be terminated.
2359 hrs: (By 2359 hrs.) You SIMBA Port-In should be completed and you can start using your Port-In number on SIMBA!

I'm expecting the same tonight from Giga to SIMBA for my SIM-Only 100GB Plan!
Well, let's just wait and see although staff mentioned that it takes about 2 working days. (Simba's safety factor)
Btw, I am also porting from Giga to Simba.

Actually it is true.

I just started using Simba today. A bit slow compared to circle's life but ok la considering the costs.

But network coverage seems spotty. I was at SAF yacht club and there was no network there. But hope the rest of Singapore has coverage.
