I ported to Simba around mid March 2023.
This is their cell signals reception I am encountering at my 36th floor home (indoor).
No service / Emergency calls only, also repeatedly existed daily.
I have problems receiving OTP and sometimes my calls will gets dropped off in the mids of conversation.
Already communicated with Simba and now waiting for their support service to respond.

I suggest if you need data and OTP @ home you can port out to other telco. Improve network coverage may take a few months to happen. Need to seek approval to access building and install new equipment.

IMHO.
I just tried earlier VoWifi. It is also known as Wi-Fi Calling.
On Samsung, it is in Connections / Wi-Fi Calling / SIM 1 or SIM 2, ON or OFF
I enabled it and status bar VoLTE icon changed to a VoWifi icon ( Phone Handset with Wifi ).
I send an SMS from another mobile and apparently, the mobile with VoWifi was able to receive.

Noted, already planned to port back to the previous telco.
Unfortunately for this particular plan, I have paid upfront for 3 months.
Porting out means losing out due to no refunds.

I ported to Simba because of its affordable data roaming.
But never realized that their local data is quite terrible for my case.
I am already in the mids of porting back to the previous telco, but with some other considerations.

Ok, no harm to give it a try but now not at home.
Also do not have another mobile set to test it out.
Anyway, thanks bruh. (y)

Have you tried with another handset? Different handsets have different radiation and different reception level.

We all tried .. Not everyone can accept the network.. For a secondary line it is fine

5G is readily available everywhere for me. So far only underground MRT can’t get. But outdoors and in buildings all ok so far.
IMHO.
That is what I want to find out. (y)
I hope to early adopt of Simba 5G because now less people use, so the bandwidth will be there. 🤣

SIMBA coverage is not as good and its speed is slow compared to the big 3 but the SIMBA's speed is "fast" enough for surfing and social apps already.

That's the most important for most users unless you perform a lot of downloads over cell instead of wi-fi and play intense-online games! :)

I ported here and there and ended up still with SIMBA for its roaming features and price! :giggle:
