May I check, when u do a manual network search. do u see simba 4g or simba 5g?
coz i dont see any 5g network at all. even when nperf map shows that area have simba 5g.

how this 5g works for simba. also what phone model u using.
Hi Mr.Drone, nice name.
For the 5G SMS, I emailed them to check, they say don't have such SMS. FAQ page just BS.
5G coverage seems wide, but not available to all users/phones. A few of us here can connect, but most of us here on Samsung and Apple cannot connect.

Like to check with Simba users here on one question.

I was in Malaysia a while back and using the Simba 130G MY plan with roaming support. At one point, my phone rang showing a call from Singapore and I picked it up and talked for like 2 minutes.

Question, did I get charged for idd call? Couple of weeks after returning, I checked my Simba app and I do not see any additional charges for picking up that call? Or is it in previous month bills? Note for 130G MY, my bill cycle is once every 3 months, could it be it will charge only upon renewal?

Or it's actually free? Can't find any info anywhere.

Yes it's free. Simba billing works differently, they won't charge you or get bill shock. They have a wallet system where you top up money inside, excess and IDD Calls charges and mobile data charges will be taken from there.

If no money inside wallet means cannot use. Want to use, top up wallet.

The monthly deduction from your credit card is for monthly charge only.

It's free for call in and out. No additional charges. IDD calls mean you dial to other countries number except for +65 calls (Free regardless which part of the world you are and connected to that country network).

But I did spoke for 2 minutes. It's true my wallet is zero.

Isn't that a very good deal if it's free? From previous usage from the traffic light telcos, picking up call from Singapore while overseas incurred the most expensive charges actually.

How about my SIM only 100GB plan? 😷

Is it free also for receiving incoming and making outgoing calls between Singapore and foreign country I'm in at that point of time?

Whether from SG or u in Malaysia, calls to +60 are IDD and will be deducted from your 100 mins.
As long as you are not dialling +65, it will be IDD.
I had 300 mins IDD and no malaysia xmm to chat to.. U got can intro me..

anyone using simba as their main line? (for banking, transaction etc?)

any issue with simba?

i have simba as spare card but I am only using it's data and overseas roam, but I am thinking of porting my main line over as I am tempted with their SuperRoam plan..
My family of 4 all using SIMBA as main line and no issue with banking transaction, eg. receiving OTP

Yes that's why simba is really good deal even for base 100GB plan with no IDD calls.

When you are overseas, you can call back Singapore mobile lines for free, unlimited. I tested it out myself last month when I was in Europe. If you call singapore fixed line, it will deduct from the 300min outgoing

Any sg mobile number or only tpg mobile number ?

Fix line will deduct from free allocated talk time.
