How does Singtel's MVNO Zym Mobile $10 secret deal compare with Simba's current $10 offerings? :D
ZYM still does not have international 1GB data roaming, no VoLTE. SIMBA wins on the data roaming (not just regional Malaysia), with volte, free unlimited Voice calls back to Singapore when you are overseas (Not WhatsApp call)

Ok, sounds good. But I'm just wondering. The IDD calls are probably useful only to a landline in msia.
Because if it's to a mobile number, I can simply use Whatsapp to call, and I got about 130GB worth of data to do that.

If you sign the MY plan, it comes with IDD minutes. Good for people who call from Singapore to the selected destinations.

But all simba plans allows one to call home for free using normal voice call. That is one of their winning edge. Let's not talk about WhatsApp. I don't like WhatsApp call, the quality is really inferior, and you need data to call for WhatsApp.

I Just came back from Europe holiday, using SIMBA for data roaming.

SIMBA voice app is crucial for phone calls. Not all countries support Volte for SIMBA roaming. Even if you can call directly using your native phone app in Singapore, it doesn't mean you can do it overseas.

Based on my experience last week in Belgium, I have to use SIMBA voice app to call back Singapore as their roaming partner still has yet to active volte.

Some countries like Finland supports volte on Elisa network. I've personally see it on my phone.

5G roaming also supported too in many countries.

yes. Even if the roaming partner does not support Volte. Just download the Simba voice app and call back Singapore and it's FOC.

I tried it a few days ago in Belgium when I used Simba Voice app to call Singapore and talked 45mins for free.

If the roaming partner has Volte, just use the normal dialler. That's the good thing about simba, call back SG for free (volte or not volte supported roaming partners).

I shared your experience with a SIMBA subscriber currently somewhere in Europe.
This is his experience...

Yes, we were able to call both SG mobile and land line from Norway. It's free using SIMBA Voice apps.

My friend called me from SG using SIMBA Voice but only I can hear him and he can't hear me.

He later switched to normal VOLTE mobile line (without using the Voice apps) and we heard each other perfectly. But he had to put +65 to my SG phone number.

Such is the tweaking that we have to do to get free calls. Hahaha.

Hi, I’m currently under contract from M1. If my contract end date is on 5 july 2023, the date to input for port over will key as 5 July or 6 july? Thanks.
