holiday. not many international tourists. Have an indian friend willing to bring around to different cities each day. If you ask any indian about holidaying in leh and ladakh, they are all excited.

India network is good. I use Simba roaming in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad with no problem.

yeah im there now. need to get local sim. the hk sim card i bought was fine in delhi, but cant connect to same network in leh. simba also cannot use jio here...

anw my tour guide gav me his sim card so shdnt be an issue

it is a sensitive place, even google map is blocked.

by the way, dont go lake pongong, an overrated place.

You had mentioned no data and not no cell connection.

the plan looks so attractive.... just ported in.... absolutely nightmare
dunno is it becos the number haben port in completely yet.

outside even got 5g the speedtest is d/l u/l 0.2mbps max.
basically at home cant even use fb, tiktok, youtube. keep loading and see circle spinning.

Update:

after number ported in successfully with notification activated. the speed was much better. need to monitor more though. so far looks ok

advice is not to port during weekend/non working days*. experience 2 days of unstable connection since i applied online esim on a saturday.
