Reception is always improving. If there is blind spot, you can email them and they are responsive to improve network.

What address do you email them at? Have a few suggestions as I have two spots where I (almost daily) encounter a blind spot in the network...

support@simba.sg

They are quite leychey, they will want quite a few screenshots from you. They need screenshots of 2 speed tests, 2 screenshot of showing poor network in your network info, your affected phone lines, phone model and 2 time stamps. But at least it helps them identify the place that has weak connetion and improve on it.

When westgate b1 food junction opens in November last year, there was zero network, no service. But after notifying them of the issues, last month i noticed that the foodcourt has FULL 5G service coverage at basement 1

I just subscribed to esim and wanted to understand that for the 1GB free monthly roaming, if let's say I exceeded 1GB and I didn't notice it, will the internet connectivity stop immediately after utilised 1GB for that month or will it continue to have internet connectivity and charge you at the end of the billing cycle for the excess usage >1GB ?
Your roaming data will stop immediately once the 1GB is used up and you will not be billed. Simba only charges you $10 monthly sub, any excess charges (data, roaming data, excess calls or excess SMS), you have to top up your wallet.

If you need to use more than 1GB, you can easily top up your simba wallet via shopee or simba app while overseas.

Hi, I would like to ask if Simba and MyRepublic are the only telco in Singapore to offer VOIP apps - SIMBA Voice and MyRepublic Talk respectively

No other telco has VOIP apps? Or are there that I'm not aware of?
yes. as far as i know. But MyRepublic and Simba differs.

MyRepublic (Must use Talk App)
incoming calls - Deducted from talktime included with MyRepublic Mobile plans. If no minutes remaining, cost is 5¢ per minute.
outgoing calls to Singapore - 5¢ per minute.

Simba: ( to download Simba Voice app if operator does not support volte, if operator supports, don't need)
incoming calls: free
outgoing calls to Singapore - free
outgoing calls to Singapore fixed line - deducted from outgoing mins

A tip on simba voice app. One can install the app on another phone with no sim card. Register the voice app to ur simba line and u can make and receive calls on the simba app with no sim card if the phone is connected to the internet.

I just port over from SingTel last night. Just activated the SIMBA App and tried to find a place where I can insert my credit card for monthly recurring but cannot find the option in the app. Is it that I must top up $10 every month in the ewallet before expiry of my SIM card?

Did you do apply for simba via the app, simba website or via retailer? During sign up, if you chose to use paynow during your initial payment, the payment won't be recurring. However, if you put your credit card for the first payment, they will deduct from your card monthly.

However, if you chose paynow for first payment and want to pay for your billings recurring via credit card, you will need to go their website to enter your credit card details.

As simba uses volte, if someone uses landline to call you it will not get through or have no dial tone at all?
