I am headed for Seoul tomorrow.

Anyway, just to update everyone here, I manually changed my network to Rakuten and everything is back to normal for now. Connects to the 5G network and connection is very speedy. Maybe something to take note for those who are travelling to Japan and have issues with KDDI.
Have been roaming in Seoul for the past couple of days. No issues at all. Speeds are very fast and 5G works almost everywhere including the underground metro network. Connects to SKTelecom.

iPhone 15 supports 2 eSIM standby, should not have any issues.

Been using SIMBA for awhile and I'm always confused by its monthly renewal messages.
$XX charged today 19-Feb
SMS says: will be renewed on 23-Feb
email says: next renewal date 23-Mar
App shows: current cycle expiry 22-Feb

While hoping that it will improve its communication, for the benefit of those who are new or confused, SIMBA billing is fixed at 30 days cycle, not exactly one month, and also not following calendar month. They charge the monthly fee 3 days before the current cycle ends.

This is a summary of my SIMBA renewal timeline:
Current bill cycle: 24-Jan to 22-Feb (30 days)
Bill deduction date: 19-Feb (3 days before cycle expiry)
Next bill cycle: 23-Feb to 23-Mar (30 days)

Is there any way to keep 1 from being logout from its mobile app?

It's super irritating to keep logging in with the OTP sms, especially when you are overseas and their sms doesnt reach you

open often enough, although i don't know how often is enough, or you use the alternative app (think's for android only?) or use website?

yes i am using simba voice. outgoing call ok. but not incoming call. so sad. thanks
Where? JB?

No incoming calls from landlines or mobile phone? This issue lasted many years alr esp for landlines. Hence they came out with the voice app.
