Simba can be quite unreliable as main line but for me, it is fabulous as a secondary line.

I used gomo then giga as main line and there are times when I get zero bar in certain places (underground), I would unexpectedly get 3-4 bar (max 5) on simba. i dont know how it all works though.

For the past few years, I have been using 2 phones, main on singtel/starhub and sub on simba
I always had some sort of connection no matter where I am because when my main line is down (no connection), my sub can tether to my main and vice versa. But then again, it works well because I use 2 phones. Using 2 sim card on one phone is possible but not really cost efficient, I supposed.
isn't it a hassle to carry 2 phones?

I have 2 phones too,
but 1 is mostly at home, bring out only on weekends and use for online/offline shopping

Posting this on Aeromobile roaming via SQ flight. Slower than inflight wifi but good backup.

Maxx Roam working on Aeromobile as advertised.
Maxx plans can roam on aeromobile? I can't find the info on this on their website.

I wish SIMBA $10 plan allows roaming on aeromobile. Then it'll be the perfect plan.

Dun think so...if not wrong, u need to purchase another package.

Anyway up in the sky, just give yourself an excuse a break. If u r thinking of watching youtube, tiktok then dun bother. The best will be IM and email and if your email has a big attachment then u have to wait.... internet is very slowwwww. Again take a break in the sky.

Most modern phones have 2 SIM trays nowadays, some of them support eSIM on SIM2.
I am currently using V* (Singtel network) on SIM1 as primary call/whatsapp line and G* (Starhub network) on SIM2 as secondary line for data at places where Vivifi/Singtel network is poor... just need to change settings at "SIM Manager" and mobile data connection could be swopped in a matter of seconds, no need to carry 2 phones.
If need more than 2 lines, need another phone lor.

At my new office (some "ulu" corner), G* network is poor and my colleague's Simba seems ok. So thinking of porting G* to Simba and also to enjoy the 1GB free data roaming. Have a few concerns and hope some helpful people here can share info:
  • I already have 3 Simba 100GB lines registered under my name for my Children's tablets/phone, how many lines can a person hold with Simba?

  • If I port G* number over to Simba now under 100GB plan, will I be able to retain existing number when I change plan from 100GB plan to Seniors plan when I turn 60 later (e.g. next year)? H
Hopefully Seniors plan is still available at that time.
Alternative is to port-out to some MVNO, then port-in to Simba... very troublesome but at least can keep my nice numbers ^_^
Many Thanks in advance.

I am a lazy person and dun have a habit of carrying 2 phones. Too bulky for 2 phones in the pocket. Currently, I am using Flip which is good size for me. I am curious why some need 2 phones with 4 sim cards. 1 for personal, 1 for work, 1 for small 3, 1 for?

My primary line for M1 and esim for simba...if no M1 signal will switch to Simba...Simba is also good when traveling oversea. I use it for email and IM.

I'm only relying on Simba. Once in a blue moon I might not be able to get a signal but it's ok cos i don't have big business and I don't need to be connected every second.

Need more info... please,

Simba 100GB plan comes with free 1GB Roaming (Intl).
When overseas (e.g. in Malaysia), what happens when that 1GB is fully used up?
Will the data simply stop or it will automatically deduct "cash value" that is currently in the Simba account?

Group A Countries Roaming - $4/GB
Website listed "excess charges after 100% usage of the data roaming quota given", what does that mean?
Does it mean Simba will automatically deduct "cash value" that is currently in the Simba account at $0.04 per 10MB block?
So if I have no cash value stored in account, roaming will stop... yes?

Auto deduct from cash value stored in account to continue Roaming.

If no cash value stored in account, roaming will stop.

Yes, your understanding is correct.
Top up to get additional roaming after roaming quota is finished.

It's never too late. Simba is consistent, though speeds not that fast, but loadable. Unless you are speedtest ocd freak, don't take simba.

Simba has $20 broadband service. Wondering to switch over or not. Now I'm with $30 M1 500 Mbps.

Try to do a network reset in your Xiaomi.
