Their biggest competitor should be the new MVNO, coming with the 8-dollar, 188GB data plan.
More competition better, consumers benefit with more data. Hopefully in future, Simba base plan $10/MTH gives at least 2GB International data roaming, 100min IDD calls. Upgrade $12/MTH plan with 4GB international data roaming.

And possibly introduce a plan with at least 10GB International data roaming, not the one with 50GB Malaysia data roaming, i don't need 50GB Malaysia, we just need more international data roaming and it will be a win for us.

SuperRoam Max already have 10GB "Intl" roaming though.

No choice, but good enough as compared to others measly offering.
Though of course, always welcome more addition to the list of "International" locations.

SuperRoam Max is not regional roaming though

Is roaming for countries in Group A like the other plans
That's why i hope they can have a plan that has 10GB international data roaming. Cos not everyone travels to Malaysia or regionally. Now people travel more often.

Oh wait. on website SuperRoam Max put "10GB Roaming Data (Intl + In-flight)", but the CIS put 10GB Roaming Data to Group A destinations. . Confusing, probably there is some error there.

On the new one they put "10GB Roaming Data to Group A destinations and in-flight roaming"

Hi,
my wife is using iphone x. but she says she has clients who told her that they called her. .... but her phone didnt even ring.

So i wanted to ask, is it a problem with the phone? too old?

there as an earlier reply in this thread that said OPPO works well.
I use iPhone 15+, my friend called me from Starhub mobile also has the same problem, not always though. Like 3 times in the past 6 months. So it is not your phone old or new.

Not sure if it is due to my area sometimes the signal only 2 bar, only “3G” speed. Or due to no line due to network congestion at certain hours.

Feeback to CS, gave me standard answer. Since it is intermittent I also don’t know how 🤦‍♂️

Probably the sim card is faulty, had the same problem before. I will get "No service" intermittently. Need to change to airplane mode and back to fix.

Their CS told me go down to their service center to change for free
i had this problem recently when i was in china. lasted for 5 days then back to normal.

no problem in sg.

My Simba plan 1 month is almost over, today received 1st email saying they try to renew but no money in wallet. I plan to wait until 30 days over and then port it out.

I understand there is 20 days grace period right? I wish Eight mobile allowed porting already.

If yours is the old $30 M1 plan then maybe still worth it to stay with M1 after your contract expired. If yours is the expensive M1 plan then maybe worth it to switch over to $20 Simba broadband to try.

Now WhizComms is also having $20 promo similar to Simba. Looks like the competition is heating up. Their network is powered by Singtel somemore.....
True. For fibre M1 still the best value for money, stable and fast. I'm still thinking whether to switch to Simba fibre. My contract ending soon

The netlink and activation fee of total $120 is the problem for me. This means it will take 1yr to break even after you switch from M1 to Simba broadband.

I was hoping M1 and Starhub merger, hopefully they come up with some competition in the market.

20 day grace period but it's counted as suspended right? Got suspension lifting fee I think

Huh? It is not suspended, it is called basic plan or something.

There was somebody here who renewed after 20 days into the basic plan, their plan renewal was only for 10 more days(total 30 days). So, it is not considered suspended.
