Not compatible meaning their phones does not have eSIM capability? The list from SIMBA is actually quite comprehensive so unlikely for newer gen phones to be incompatible with their eSIM.Hi all , I got a e SIM plan for my seniors only to find out their phone is not compatible. Anyone experience this before. Do I just go down to the service centre to request for a physical SIM. Anyone kena B4?
On the contrary, after 31st July 2024, only Simba works on non-VoLTE 4G phone via Simba Call app. But I guess seniors prefer VoLTE capable phones. Not compatible meaning their phones does not have eSIM capability? Anyway, if so just go down to the specific service center, pay $5 and get a physical card.
Btw you should confirm their phones are VOLTE capable.
Thank U. Gonna check it at the service centre tm.Not compatible meaning their phones does not have eSIM capability? The list from SIMBA is actually quite comprehensive so unlikely for newer gen phones to be incompatible with their eSIM.

"All Lucky mobile numbers are sold at a discount of 50% (unless otherwise specifically stated for special promotions), and the price that the customer paid is after the discount is applied. The discount is provided to the customer on the condition that the customer continues with a valid mobile plan with SIMBA for a period of 24 months from the activation of the Lucky mobile number). The discounted amount will be chargeable to the customer if the customer requests for porting-out or the customer’s mobile plan is terminated for any reason whatsoever, before the expiry of the period of 24 months from the activation of the Lucky mobile number. The amount chargeable would be pro-rated based on the number of remaining months until the expiry of the 24 months."How does the charges for early port out of lucky number calculated?
Assuming I have bought the number for $28 and have 20 months left in the contract, how much would I need to pay?
I also got more 888 back during giga days when they launched numbers with lots of 8
looks like my number from giga is worth $8888 according to simbaI

Refer to this page (post 1107, 1108, 1109, 1112 & 1113), someone ported out $28 lucky number after a month, penalty $25Thank you for the reply.
I am aware of the official clause. Just need an example of how the pro-rated will be calculated based on my example, or if anyone has done the early port-out for their lucky number to share their side of the story.
Based on the official clause, do I assume $28 x 20 months for the example that I have quoted?
Thank you. Glad to know it's divided by 24 months.Refer to this page (post 1107, 1108, 1109, 1112 & 1113), someone ported out $28 lucky number after a month, penalty $25
Your case should be
28 X 20/24

I ported out with lucky jumber. My lucky number is 10$. Calculation is as such:How does the charges for early port out of lucky number calculated?

I think the $12 plan also good for the inclusive IDD minutes which is useful when calling land lines overseas. This is quite useful say when holiday and need to contact car rental, restaurants etc., although simba's pay-per-use IDD is reasonably cheap. So go overseas no need get overseas sim or data sim.sms 2 to 1218 is the best and most accurate to check the roaming data balance.
judging by the history of TPG/Simba, the 3gb bonus will eventually become permanent.
if you wish to switch plan, do it on your day 25th day to reduce damage as once you change plan, the new cycle will based on the day the plan is changed + the remaining days of the old plan will be forfeited. to check which day are you into your plan, log in via the simba website.
those currently on $10 100GB plan but rarely go out of singapore and don't think you will use much data at overseas, you might wish to just stick with your plan. given your 1gb free roaming data, any additional 1gb cost $4. comparing this with you pay extra $2 every month for months before you utlise the 5gb roaming data.
