Interested to know experience for Giga port over to Simba(Senior) too.

Heard some failed porting experience , but I am wondering if the porting failure can be minimized by doing it in person at the service outlets (instead of doing online)? This is because the service rep. tends to do some checking (eg: check the port-in number validity and details such as account holder's name and compare against NRIC), so as to approve/finalize the porting request.
My experience ...I did online with NRIC verified online, collected SIM Cards from Service Center

07.00am - started port-in process for 2 mobiles from Singtel to SIMBA

11.30am - collected SIMs

11.05pm - Singtel cut me off

01.11am - port-in successful!

Very fast!! 👍👏👏
... within 24 hours!

To share an interesting point for my: StarHub Prepaid port-over to SIMBA Prepaid 100gb (50gb+50gb)......

On Day 1 (applied in person around 11am to request port-in): Paid $10 cash on the spot. Salesperson said that for other Telco's Prepaid port-in, I can only choose SIMBA's $10 Prepaid plan. After that, I sms'ed to 1218 and confirmed that I am on the SIMBA Prepaid 50gb (plus 50gb) plan.

On Day 2 (morning): Port-in was successful. I sms'ed again to 1218 and noticed my SIMBA plan has automatically changed to POSTPAID SIM-only 100gb SIMBA Plan. This "auto-upgrade" to "Postpaid" is really important, especially if considering to port-over to another Telco in future.
I went to the simba at suntec there. The salesman also told me other prepaid port in, can only apply for the $10 simba prepaid plan. Weird, the simba @ tampines one told me for giga prepaid port in, can apply for the $12 simba plan. I go ahead apply at tampines simba instead.

How come.different simba counter say different thing.

Yes. Will be terminated first and then SIMBA will be activated. SIMBA might not be immediate though.
