she using a old phone, samsung a6, I also tried on another old phone xiaomi redmi 5a

tried simba voice app but seem like only works when calling out, unable to receive call.
Samsung A6 is quite an old phone. I suggest getting a new phone. Since it's Samsung, get her a similar Samsung phone, like A15, A35 or A55.

Why new phone? Cos old phone does not support new security updates, very risky for old age parents, risk of virus and malware or scam.

If simba voice app does not work when receiving call, you might want to go to your phone settings, under default app settings, for call app, make simba voice app your default app for calling.

If the issue is due to VoLTE requirement, you can't avoid it.
M1 already require that since 2024 Aug.
By 2024 Nov Singtel & Starhub would need it too.

If only simba removed the "Senior" in $5 plan. I think alot will get this plan? Why? Not a lot people use so much data nowadays and moreover they gave 80GB now. It's more than enough if you are going to work and travelling to places. At home or office, connect to WiFi.

Talktime is also more than enough as simba has unlimited calls to local mobile numbers. Roaming calls back to singapore also free. Now with 3GB roaming data even better.

Hope they can make this plan for all.
