Haha. They may not have enough quota to use throughout the journey. Sq's speed is unlimited and decent, can watch yt or netflix all the way. But then again, sq has a lot of good movies onboard, think can find something nice to watch.
yeah. even if i take plane, i'll watching the Live maps on where the plane is currently or some movies.

i think those can fly long haul on Singapore Airlines, don't use simba. haha
haha i am flying to lhr two weeks later. Last time coming back from lhr i bought singtel unlimited flight data roaming to try out, apparently the sg-lhr flight uses OnAir and not Aeromobile so i could not roam. Wasted 5$ 😂But now it seems aeromobile works on the same segment

Now im on simba 12$ plan i would buy flight roaming if they allowed without being on more expensive plan.

Heard that Senior plan will change price to $10 in Nov. Is that true? Maybe that's why they increase the data.
Highly unlikely, if so, what is the point of continuing subscribing this plan if it is even less attractive than Simba $10 100 GB plan, not to mention other MVNO <$10 plans?

Anyway, Senior Plan from 20Gb to 80Gb may seem to be an upgrade but the unlimited 2Mbps throttled speed is removed, this speed is actually still usuable for 480p YT streaming. So to each his own, whether it is considered an upgrade.

that's what I saw on yt. 20mbps is good enough for streaming. but I believe the airline will advice users not to do streaming.

I will try it when I get to fly to Korea end of the yr.

Saw my highest ever download speed. In hougang at night

simba is progressively updating their network infrastructure. I used to get 5mbps at home, but now I can get close to 100mbps at home.

good to know they r proactively improving.

https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...direct-change-of-mobile-plan-finally.7065455/

☝️this EDMW post claimed SIMBA allowed change of plan, has anyone tried before?
It has been awhile since simba allows the flexibility to change plans anytime from Day 1 to Day 25.

  • SIMBA subscribers are eligible to Change Plan on Days 1 to 25 of the plan cycle with a valid renewal. Suspended Plans are not eligible to Change Plan until the Plan is renewed.

I wonder if one phone number can only change one time is it? I can't find (or I overlooked) the answers in the FAQs.
i think you can change many times, but i think it's only once per month. It not logical to change many times within a month. Remember if you change, all your benefits for the old plan will cease immediately.

Many has shared previously, they did upgrade and downgrade their plan before. It works if you are going for long holiday to upgrade your plan, then come back downgrade back to normal plan.

I see, been thinking of downgrading my plan as in the past we are only allowed to upgrade.
