Just ported over, understand will take some time for sms to normalize. Most sms otp can be received but some aren't coming in. Wonder how long it take to normalize?

Simba upped their $10 plan local/MY data from 200Gb to 280Gb with immediate effect. Congrats to subscribers.

May be that is why the network problems faced by some.

Once over the causeway, only can receive SMS, cannot make any call or use any mobile data, it's completely useless.

maybe because network problems, they can anyhow up data since you won't be able to use that much anyway, especially when in MY

It's more of a hit-or-miss situation, mostly a miss, so I never really bothered and just see it as a gimmick.

You've been complaining in every thread, but I've no issues with eight and Simba for data roaming.

Probably user or phone problem, I don't have mostly misses like you do. Either change the way your using it or change phone, or even more extreme case port to your usual MNOs and pay hefty prices for roaming.

I was with 3 Simba and 1 Eight yesterday afternoon till late evening across the causeway, all auto-roaming and could even receive OTP, and queue number.

No missing connection so far.

Since they upgraded their data, I’m going to get hold of their customer service this time. There’s no issue using a local SIM card from their partner telco on the same phone, so it’s confirmed to be a SIMBA issue.

Guess it takes times to know how to tweak to set it to optimal connection for roaming data. As for me, i am definitely happy with the increase in Gb since I am mostly surfing in SG.

Let’s compile a list of dead zone for Simba, I think local reception is getting from ok to bad to worst.
