By your rig build, I think going PCThemes to buy and assemble works best for u. Coz u can take advantage of their bundle pricing (MSI HD 7850 TFII + Seasonic M12II Modular 80+Bronze at $409), cheaper than u buy a HD7870 at $394 and M12II 620W at $116 separately.

How many case fans is depending on how much u willing to spend to air-cool your casing, but at least need to have 1 intake and 1 outtake of air. Where u place your inlets and outlets depend on personal preference and the environment u place the rig in. And how many LED case fans vs how many non-LED case fans depends on how *bling bling* u wan your rig to be. But I would highly recommend Enermax Vegas Trio 120mm LED fan, coz it comes with a switch to toggle between red, blue, green, white and patterned colours, so u dun need to headache which colour matches the rig and u can change the LED colour anytime u like or when u feel like it. :)

Since we can finally mention shop names in our posts;

Tradepac: If you are assembling yourself, know their "tricks", able to stand firm, able to wait at least half-an-hour, and able to tahan (or like) semi-loud indian music :s13:

PC Themes: For everything else not mentioned in Tradepac

edit: And by wait I meant really wait in the store until you get everything you paid for, not wander around until they get all your parts

the Admins have already made their stand.

One should only worry if they are representatives of a shop ;)

for us normal folks, just recommend away

Where did that thread fly to? I cant seem to find it in the ratings subforum, someone covering tracks again?

What do you mean by "tricks"? Like, what will they do? I'm planning on building my own rig so I might want to go there and get my parts

They like to play stunt with you. Pricing anyhow. This anyhow that anyhow.

Motherboards sitting on the shelf is 'sold'. I need one also cannot buy. Tricks like that make me not want to buy from them.

Must see first. Sometimes (esp first-timers), out of stock is not really OOS but simply lazy to send their man down to take from the store room. Sometimes, it is really out of stock, like when I bought my Asrock Extreme IV.

For TS, never be afraid to stand by your original choice, though don't be too overbearing on them (you might come back to them again). They know how to convince people to buying "something they don't need" which means more money for themselves, but if you know how to play their game, you can get quite a good deal from them (incl. a taxi ride home :D)

Pretty much any price you see in SLS, if you find anywhere lower than Tradepac, they will match/beat it (based on my experience) because their business is really low-cost-to-profit margin

edit: Fans you can get Bitfenix Spectre LED 120mm for $10 from Tradepac, or Arctic F12 120mm for $7 from Powergamers

If I buy the fans from the other stores , and I build my whole PC in PCThemes , will they help me install the fan ?
