I can't help but notice when i do a transfer out, it'll take longer than usual (about 5 mins or so) for the amount to be shown up at recipient bank. Unlike other FAST transfer i did, which is instantaneous.

I think their system needs a little processing time.

Unlike the usual FAST, i also received a letter from DBS notifying me the transfer after a few days.

yeah i received it too.. means for every withdrawal there will be a letter sent?

It is apparently so as I did 2 withdrawals and received 2 letters

Doesn't act like the usual FAST. It is more like SingLife orders the payment to us.

Wow that's quite a waste of paper. Is there an option to turn this off and switch to e-notifications?

Don't think is possible cos i also received similar letters when i have a refund ordered by another site. This is the bank's way to keep us posted of "refunds" i guess..

That's why i said it's not the usual FAST transfer SingLife is using as compared to other banks

True. But even if round down, for $10k, should be earning min $0.68/day, i.e. min 2.488% p.a.

From the cover page illustration, the interest earned in 1st month (31 days) on the 10k is 20.96.
It is about 2.4696%
Actual daily accumulating interest so far also about this rate.

Don't think is compound whole month. Should be compound whole year only then can get near 2.5%

Based on current earning rate, if 1st deposit is $9777 from the start of the policy year and no withdrawal. Month 12th deposit is accumulated to $10k so whole policy year same interest rate for calculation. After one whole year total interest earn is about $243.97. Refer to the initial deposit of $9777 is 2.495% , close to the 2.5% target payout.
