stil good. even the 1% tier wins all the banks rates now

And must applaud Singlife for sending email. The other banks just announce on website. Some sent emails or SMS much later than web announcement and some don't even send.

I mean when they bought aviva liao I suspect sure will do smth. So fast join the complicated Bank campaign crowds lol. But 2% is still not bad.

Could also be because a lot more accounts opened recently. Email say more than 180,000 accounts. Multiply that with at least $10,000

Sian.... Attracted enough investors liao now lower the rates... :(

Not because of that. Because of uncertainty.

A lot of dividend cuts and some even omitting is expected over the months.
Don't be surprised next year it drops some more.

This 2.5% started Feb 2020 ? Wow not even 12 mths n now drop to 2%.

When the product was designed (which internally would have taken a few months of preparation) and launched in February, no one knew for sure that the global interest rates would drop so much so fast. At that time, high yield savings accounts easily get 2.4% with few hoops. US treasury bills had much higher interest rates, ...

Hindsight is easy. But not a reason to blame them.
They have held this 2.5% risk-free no lock-in no conditions rate longer than most other banks and insurers.

The good news is that it is still possible to keep earning 2.5% p.a. returns for the first S$10,000 through our upcoming Save, Spend, Earn Campaign*.
