Is it safe or worth to top up 100k to singlife as other banks interest lower than 1%

i think it's quite safe for now. they just merged with Aviva... and should be stronger financially / better off than before. more credible as well.

the only negative (as pointed out many times) is the cap of $20k withdrawal a day. which makes it less accessible in case need emergency funds.

Is the interest only credited in only after 1 month of opening of the account or the start / end of each month?

To give some context, look at the drop of risk free bonds such as SSBs

Banks and insurers cannot do miracles and keep giving high interest rates magically.

some people are cynical
Wow!!!!

once i have place a cent into an investmt/saving tool , i must have done ALL my due diligence and is ready to commit! of cos no1 can predict whether is there another pandemic coming up or when vaccine will arrive, stop worrying about those unpredictables....

Once u have set your mind in it, move on.......
Some may be jumping that Singlife has dropped to 2% from 1 nov 2020 ....(orig 2.5%) this is expected as Nearly all Financial institution have dropped their rates

i think they are concern that Singlife will cheat. like even though they advertise 2.5%, but they not giving 2.5%
