Anyway i just try transferring $ for my mum's singLife ac (as she is clueless)
it works instantly using her phone (I am not used to her phone at all) , the figures /amt reflected instantly
It is so efficient and so swift
but not sure why do some mbrs claimed that they didnt get to see their account reflected? why?

No more bullets to gamble on Forex. All the gains since 2016 were wiped up in just 2019 alone plus capital loss.

The weaker dollar arrived too late. Most of my USD shorts are unwinded at huge losses. Reason being no more bullets to keep topping up margin calls.

Now only left 2 currency pairs earning swap points while waiting to recover.

Trading Forex needs more capital now as MAS increased margin requirements for local brokers since 2019.

The whole irony is my RMB cash is the stable cash cow after all these years. Now I have to stop trading for 5 years to recoup from pre losses level. If CCP kick the can I believe RMB long term trend will be super bullish.

When I lose I will admit my defeat unlike many SSI warriors. Only upside news but no downside news.

Have been in touch with them over the last 3 days. Problem is, they don't reply instantly. And when they do, is to ask me if I'm still encountering the issue. And then proceed to fill in a template questionnaire, like any porting done, am I on roaming, what phone os I'm using etc. And this is over WhatsApp, Email and browser chat.

This stupid OTP starts when I port my prepaid line to TPG. Thinking it's issue with TPG, I then ported back to Singtel prepaid, but the damned OTP just don't appear. Without that, I can't even login at all. Don't know why Singlife only allow 1 way of obtaining otp when others such as Youtrip, TransferWise can have email and calls for receiving otp.

To be fair, when it worked before I ported the number to TPG, all my fund transfer are reflected instantaneously. So, guess I just need to get this otp issue fixed and I'm good, if it does get fixed.

Thanks. I think it's my porting of my prepaid line to TPG that screw things up. Now that I ported it back to Singtel, I'm not getting OTPs for a lot of apps, such as TransferWise, WhatsApps, GPay, Singlife etc. Gonna give Singtel a call to sort this out.

I applied for an account on 3rd Dec and until now still not approved. I whatsapp them on 4th and was told it will take 5-7 working days....

The weird thing is my wife applied on the same day as me and she got instant approval and account created.

We had a Singtel post-paid port to TPG post- paid last week, it works fine with several bank OTP, WhatsApp OTP (change of phone) so far..

Yes, was frustrating. Best part is, there's no way to convert TPG prepaid to TPG postpaid. So, in the end, have to lan lan port back to Singtel prepaid.

With most of the apps that have issue, it's either fixed by twerking the app permission or using alternate mean of obtaining the OTP (such as email or call), only outstanding now is just Singlife which only allow SMS OTP. Haizzz.

Don't know how long more before it's fixed.

did your wife up setup the app in her phone much earlier, i done that to my parents' phone too, so when they are ready to dposit in, the approval is INstant too!!!! Hence i got a shock to hear what 5-7days , or tht your bk account name is differennt



It is NOT possible to have 2 accounts of the same name! if then a person can enjoy the 2% rates for every 10k using 1000accounts

New fintechs coming up so maybe everyone will be more aggressive in courting customer, so I should wait, or onboard now, forgo any potential if any for new customer incentive on the risk that interest rate might drop next year?

Singlife currently is the only such plan that allows withdrawal without fees unlike dash and Gigantiq so if u one day decided not to continue just withdraw till basic $100 otherwise close the account. Digital bank existence will only open in - 1 year time and this singlife policy is a 1 year policy. Pretty straightforward. Plus if u are not following the players in the market, rates are going down instead of increasing. If u got spare cash less than $10k optimally then this is the account for now. You snooze, u lose. Last day.
