We’re raising our crediting rates!

As part of our commitment to provide you with a better way to financial freedom, we are raising the Singlife Account’s crediting rates from 1 Oct 2022:

Base returns from 1 Oct 2022

First S$10,000 1.5% p.a.

Next S$90,000 1.1% p.a.

We are also lowering the minimum amount to have an in-force Singlife Account policy - It’s now S$100 instead of S$500.

I thought it’s always $100? Or is that just minimum balance for account to be maintained? Different from the insurance policy?

not that i'm any bothered but i thought $100 was the min amt to keep. unless the $500 was a new thing for new account holders after Singlife application was closed for a long while before reopening for general public to apply.

good news is i can earn up to 2.5% for 10k oct onwards. wonder etiqa/dash will move next since SL played their next move.

Just to check anyone has a Singlife ID is becuz they invest with dollarDex (Navigator) which is later acquired by Singlife so you automatically got a login? So if want to go for this Singlife Account need to apply and register for a new Singlife ID?

PS I already email the CS so while waiting asking in forum if any reader is same situation as I. Do you need to register for a separate Singlife ID if going for the Singlife Account?

The ILP are into unit trust which for this year is not doing very well almost all is red color. So I don't think one should becuz of the 0.5% just buy the ILP. But if one think it is long term and trust Singlife team to make a good choice in those unit trust can consider.

To be fair it is the same for all other places be it FSM,poems, dollarDex and other insurer unit trust too. This year is bear market so all unit trust is down.
