"Rest assured the amount should be within SingLife. Please allow us some time and we will get back to you as soon as we can."

This is their reply. So far my money is nowhere for 30+ hours, this is not what I expected. I will update regularly

can't take it off the mind when it is a big sum :(
Give them a nudge on this.

Hope your Singlife account is in order soon.

Hahaha I also had this thought as well!! How do I know has it been applied? Guess will have to wait for the referral fee to be deposited than we know

Yes, like that nobody knows if it is applied, especially so when the link points you to App Store to download app and register from the app. Why can’t they just use a promo code like everyone else. Now need to wait 2 weeks for card to come and then see if got bonus or not .

Just check with your Referrer.
Referee's name will show up in his account if referee used his invite link to open account.

Dump that uob and Ocbc account haha 🤣 overall still lose to multiplier now after announced interest changes

Yeap Ocbc and uob Pang Kang Liao. DBS multiplier is the best now. Uob effective interest is 1.2%? Wtf lol

a bit irrelevant to this thread (Singlife) but can shed light on why multiplier is best?

are you just assuming one will hit income/dividend + 3 categories and has $100k AND has a monthly turnover of $30k or more with the bank?

cos if it's just income/dividend + 1/2 categories, the interest is only for $25k/$50k, while the other banks earn up to $70k/$75k with seemingly marginally lower rates, say 1.8% vs. 1.2% (compute it in absolute dollars, the interest might not differ much). and unless one has products already with DBS (e.g. home loans, insurance, RSP, etc.) one actually has to spend on their products to get those extra interest dollars. not sure if it's worth it actually..

for those with larger capital like $100k, $150k it might make more sense to spread out using the other banks to park their excess cash?

investors with higher net worth may not find it worthwhile to quibble over fractions of a percentage point bank interest. centralising their accounts and getting good service may be more valuable.

This is the 5th day since I made the top up but the fund still does not appear on my account. I am legitimately worried about the safety of my money. I am going to lodge a complaint to MAS.

This is utterly unacceptable.

Did you ask your bank to send a tracer?

I called UOB and I was told the transfer was successful

You should give singlife an ultimatum, like say u need a resolution by said that if not U go MAS.

Even if u go MAS now it wouldn’t be instant.

And u tell singlife you expect the interest lost for the 5 days to be recognised

I empathize with you. If I am in your shoes and the amount topup is not small, I will be worried just like you. Complaint to MAS will not speed up your resolution. Yours is probably only one of the many complaints received and pending investigation. And MAS will probably also need evidence/information from you.
Since UOB feedback that the transaction is successful, I think you can print the UOB account balance showing the deduction and also the FAST transaction Ref # to Singlife. It has the Ref #, Date, time stamp, amount, from Account #, To Account # for matching. The receiving bank for Singlife is DBS. They should be able to trace from there. Hope you can resolve soon. Do note that Singlife Customer Care will be closed on Sat and Sun.
