How do i use the singlife VISA card for USD purchases and how to see the rate?

The rate will be the rate that the Visa network uses. The only "benefit" here is that singlife doesn't add their own fee on top of foreign currency transactions (unlike most banks). So you just get the visa FX rate directly. Not sure if they publish the rates publicly, I don't think so.

So its not like Youtrip whereby they will show the exchange rate in app, for USD to SGD? Coz some say SL rate is better than Youtrip, but when i compared to xe.com, youtrip is alrdy similar to that.

If you don't exchange in advance, Youtrip will use Mastercard exchange rate and you will see difference in the actual amount charged in a few days after the transaction.

I signed up, topped up, and just leave the money there for interest. Not going to get the card, if your card info got stolen, lost or etc, the funds are linked to the card very danger.
