Yes you are correct.
That's very concerning, because I upgrade from 15.1 to 15.2 without going through the registration or password login step again. (I use fingerprint unlock).
You can try this workaround: downgrading Singpass to 15.1 first, login to 15.1, then upgrade to 15.2, then block services/providers, and see if you can pass.
But if there's really issue with the login when the services/providers are disabled, then this method of blocking services/providers is not suitable for the long run also.
Bought the Pixel 7P.
shiok!
but you can only activate Singpass/banking apps on one phone at any time, so maybe you don't need to visit this thread anymore.

15.2.2 need disable
  • service: o.reccompose
  • provider: oforceUniformWidth
  • provider: o.u6
As usual, to prevent singpass root shock, disable auto update
Hi what does it mean when I try to disable the app manager says "Rules are not applied"? Anything I should do?

I just realized that Google Pay somehow detected root although YANSAC and Singpass have no complaint.

Any suggestion?
Xiaomi Redmi Noted 9 Pro Global, stock MIUI 13 (Android 12)

EDIT: just saw this https://support.google.com/wallet/a...ertified-or-doesnt-meet-security-requirements
Your phone isn’t certified or doesn’t meet security requirements
1. Check if your software is Play Protect certified.
2. If you could previously make contactless payments with Google Wallet but no longer can, contact your device manufacturer. There may have been a software update that affects functionality.
3. If you modified your phone, make sure that it meets security standards. Google Wallet may not work in stores with phones that:
- Run developer versions of Android.
- Are rooted, run a custom ROM, or have modified factory software. Due to security risks, Google Wallet doesn’t run on these phones.
- Are untested and haven’t been approved by Google.
- Have an unlocked bootloader.
Is this the end for GPay on rooted phone?

EDIT:
need to use SafetyNet fix MOD.
As long as DEVICE_INTEGRITY and BASIC_INTEGRITY pass then GPay should be ok (at least for now)

I encountered a problem with updating PayLah app, wondering whether it has got to do with the rooting.

Nothing interesting in the changelog, maybe no need to update (and save the trouble)?
The "app security" part could just mean they tried to quash even more circumventions. So good to delay update until it can't be delayed any more.

i tried updating to v16 and was successful. Tried this

  • Update the SP and do not launch it
  • disable using App Manager
  • service: o.getPreventCornerOverlap
  • service: o.setCompundDrawablesRelativeWithIntrinsicBounds
  • service:o.ThreadMapKt
  • provider: o.getPreferredHeight
  • Reboot the phone. Launch SP.
Someone can confirm ?

this does get me to open the singpass app but if i try to login via face-scan it would fail, and if i use the mail verification (physical mail) it would crash at the end

Indeed Singpass 16.0 can be launched with these settings, but I haven't tried the face scan & email verification as @aeroxy mentioned for v15.2.2.

I tried installing the app fresh, I'm coming from Crdroid ROM, with Magisk and all the Modules for hiding, I SP V16 after removing the services and providers using app manager I manage to open it, I suspect the face scan to not be working, however the physical mail verification is working fine. I shall await 3 working days :(

I'm unable to use the 'login with Singpass' feature: after tapping the QR code & confirm logging in at Singpass app, I get the error message. Is it just me or it's a temporary Singpass issue or it's a side effect of disabling the services/providers? @roidred @aeroxy @kirin_kid

Able to login on SparkOS A13, using apkmirror 15.2.2

Strangely A13 doesn't give the option to disable auto-updates any more. :s22:
