coz i paid for titanium... swiftbackup??? how is it better than titanium? coz sometimes i do swap roms about but nowadays dunno why via titanium backup the data backup but fail to launch app... in the end must clear data which then defeats the purpose.
This is because Titanium Backup is not updated to support the multi user implementation of Android where data folders are hashed instead of by appid. Swift Backup is better and seamless.

sorry to copy paste old post of mine.....
Custom ROM devices are more secured as its open source and when release it they patch with monthly security updates. Not sure how long people have to wait for security update and after 2 years not available and they carry device without latest security updates. forget security update you wont get android version update by the manufacturer.

These people are not bothered about those real security issues with many older version android in the market and no security patches applied. They want to target people like us who are rooting their phone ??? If I am able to use some device which came with android 9 and now on A13 is because of the huge community supporting the device and keep our device updated and secured.

i am not going to give up like some others unless all doors are shut. Btw anyway using KernelSu based root.
shhhhhhhhhhh dun say the SU

Gg... Installing systemless host for adaway broke singpass.
Which version of Singpass? Is it the systemless host or AdAway app that broke Singpass?

Singpass 16.2.1 (138) is still ok with systemless host.

Adway works fine on the latest SP. If issue just whitelist the singpass traffic on the Adway. sometimes it gives problem when you try to register first time.

Lol I think I'm finally done with this dumb cat and mouse game.

Removed Magisk entirely from phone and switched to another SU method.
Still rooted.
SingPass latest (19.1) still works.
How you get it to work? I can't, it just crash, it seems to attempt to seek for access more than typical apps. I don't know what access to grant, so many of it, I wonder if it is seeking app data access, erm...

Use the other module, in the github issue, the author has linked it.

Anyone having issues with their banking apps detecting root? UOB, DBS, PayLAH? All was working fine until a few weeks ago. It seems the newest app versions are detecting root access despite magisk canary + shamiko. Maybe it has to do with systemless hosts?

latest DBS app & OCBC app are still ok on my phone. I don't use PayLah & UOB.
You need to read the discussion in the last few pages to find the solution that best suits you.

Ok so I also experimented a bit with the different configurations. Previously I was on Magisk Canary + Shamiko + USF + Systemless Hosts for AdAway. All banking apps, and SG govt apps like health hub detected root.

Switched to Magisk Delta + with and without Shamiko + with and without sulist. Was able to get DBS working again but UOB, Paylah and other govt apps still detecting root. Not sure how they are still detecting.

UOB works again using MagiskHide.
I cleaned up Shamiko and everything and installed this module only (auto delete outdated usf). Oh, remember to delete old cache data in gms (Google play services).

EDIT : Last step (very important), freeze your magisk so the bank app can't see it. I use Ice Box

Lol v19.2 made the other root method fail too. Those developers need to get a life. Thanks ah, to whoever mentioned it 😅

I'm quite certain I'm up to date with the posts here. However, I have problems finding Canary version of Shamiko.
