Its funny how things turn around. I remember that when Dr Wolfgang Baier was appointed as CEO in 2011, the market was skeptical about his ability, experience and his youth.

When Singpost made a host of acquisitions and seemingly heading nowhere, the market punished Singpost and its price was in the wilderness for the last few years.

How things turned around.

Yeah. I was skeptical about him at first too. But after reading that he was a Partner at McKinsey, my impression changed immediately. Perhaps his wide network is one on the reasons Alibaba even considered to invest in Singpost
