Been with Singtel, since 56k dial up. Was paying $32 for 500 Mbps. Many letter requests from Singtel to upgrade, I ignored Reason was paying higher price for basic broadband, but price goes up after end of contract.

Change ISP 2 days ago and terminate Singtel. Was asked by customer service, why and which ISP was signed up. Counter offered 3 Gbps at $29.90.

Consumers have every right to pick and choose the cheapest for basic broadband plan. If ISP wishes to retain customer, offer the basic and price to match competition. Otherwise lose the customer forever.

TP Link or Asus. Taken TP Link BE230
That is for M1 3Gbps at S$29.50 per month.

What about the 3Gbps counter offer from Singtel at S$29.90 per month? I tend to belive it is the lousy Singtel AX5400 wireless device.

BTW, I think you have done a good move from Singtel to M1 3Gbps.

Didn't asked on the router that will come with the 3 Gbps plan, for the counter offer.

Just for sharing, my Singtel $29.9 3Gbps comes with HB611.

Does anyknow know if HB611 and BE11000 is the same thing?

Signed up for this on the website:
Comes with XGS-PON Optical Network
Router + 2 units of Singtel WiFi 7 (TP-Link BE11000)

But service contract states this:
New Equipment Model: XGSPON ONR
New Additional AP: Singtel WiFi 7 Router (TP Link HB611)
New Additional AP: Singtel WiFi 7 Router (TP Link HB611)

Really confusing for a layman!

Yes, the same.

How much is the price? S$49.90 per month for 5Gbps? New user or recontract?

Wireless router model: TP-Link HB611-SGST,
Wireless rating: triband BE11000.

SingTel XGS PON ONR (either Nokia XS-240X-A or ZTE F8648P) will be the main router.

HB611-SGST will be configured in AP mode (not router mode).

Additional HB611-SGST will also be configured in AP mode.

I believe the second HB611-SGST should be able to form TP-Link EasyMesh mesh with the first HB611-SGST.

Interesting.

I tend to believe your recontract deal was not in this month but in June? Is that correct?

SingTel has removed many hidden link recontract offers for 5Gbps plan.

That's correct mate. I tried my luck with the hidden link for the 5Gbps but to no avail. :(

I've got this for $39.90 3gbps plan - new contract. Not too bad a deal I suppose.

You have to use your negotiation power to contact Singtel and see what they can offer to you.

Recently Singtel has removed all the good recontract offer "hidden" web links. Previously there was a recontract targeted offer link for S$29.90 per month 5Gbps offer with free WiFi 6 router. A few users managed to get it. But then many others reported that Singtel rejected the order. Now the link has been removed.

Old links which are no longer valid.

You can probably take comfort from my current paying price (recontract in August 2024).
Singtel 5Gbps plan, S$49.90 per month with ZTE F8648P ONR and free lousy Singtel AX5400 wireless router.

No matter what, you will get better offer than my one. :)

There are of course much better offers from M1 and Starhub, if you are looking beyond Singtel.

The SingTel tech came to install the new ONR and upgrade my 3Gbps plan this morning. Initially I I wish to continue to use my old Asus routers (AX56U and AX58U) unfortunately, it doesn't work no matter how I tried. End up just use their "free" TP link router. The set up was pretty easy, just make sure the cables are connected properly and boot on, the download the TP-Link app to some basic configs then go to go.

My plan is 3Gbps (recontract), XGS-PON ONR + 2 units of Singtel WiFi 7 (TP-Link BE11000) at $39.70/month.
