Can the eSIM be reusable unlimited times just like GOMO? :)

It should be the same as Gomo.

Transfer eSIM to another device
arrow

Have your eSIM email ready before you start.
1. Delete eSIM from your current device. You can do this under your device settings.
2. Open your eSIM installation email and start installation from there.

Good news! There is currently no cap to the number of times you can re-install your GOMO eSIM! You can re-install your eSIM on the same device or transfer it to another device using the same QR code you get when you sign up for GOMO with no additional charges. Remember, your eSIM can only be installed on one device at a time.

I went to cwp singtel shop to transfer ownership from my name to my mum's name and port into the senior plan. The singtel staff gave me a FOC ownership transfer saying since my mum is a senior ,they can do it for free this time.

Nice, but that should be SingTel S$6 5G Senior plan (with 12 months contract), right?

SingTel hi! Postpaid plans, including S$5 Senior Plan (4G only), are not supported by SingTel physical shop as far as I know.

I found this looks a good plan for kids, but the challenge is no overseas voice roaming despite common data-based apps

$15 hi! 5G+ Monthly Plan (port-in)
500GB SG-MY-ID-HK-TH (5G+)
8GB Worldwide Roaming (60+ destinations)
18GB APAC Roaming + China + S.Korea + Japan (20 destinations)

600 IDD Mins (20+ destinations)

Do you really need overseas roaming voice? Gomo also does not have. Same for M1 Maxx. Good thing is no bill shock.

If you really need "free" overseas roaming voice, then your choices are very limited -- eight, SIMBA and the more expensive Starhub 5G Unlimited+ plans or 5G Platimum plans.

Singtel itself, Zym, Zero1 and VIVIFI do support Pay per Use roaming voice but very expensive. Zym/Zero1/VIVIFI now have 10 minutes free roaming incoming call to avoid bill shock.
(Edit: Zero1 -- no info about the free 10 minutes incoming roaming voice call, please check with them).

BTW, my daugther (now Sec 2) is using Starhub Prepaid S plan at S$10 per month with 80GB data. Before the migration in Oct 2025 she was using Starhub Happy Prepaid with S$10 monthly top-up with only 10GB data.

The bundle is pretty bad but then it is one of the cheapest 5G plan out there and good enough for her usage.
BTW, for local usage, I will choose any 5G (non-SIMBA) plan over the best 4G plans out there.

https://www.starhub.com/personal/mobile/starhub-prepaid.html

Prepaid S
80 GB
500 local mins
Up to 100 IDD mins*
1GB Roaming Data to Malaysia
FREE incoming calls
FREE Caller Number Display
200 sms

@xiaofan hi can you point me to the link of Zero1 supporting free 1st 10mins in-coming roaming call? I cannot find, thanks.

Oops you are right. I made a mistake here.

But one possibility is that they also have the offer but have not updated the website. Usually they will have similar offer as Zym and VIVIFI. So you may want to check with them.

I think Vivifi has 1 big advantage: 10mins free incoming roaming calls; for those dreaded times when pick up calls by mistakes while roaming overseas!

1. Same for Zym -- Roam Guard 10 Mins

https://zym.sg/faq/roaming-calls-sms/
7. I am seeing a "Roam Guard 10 Mins" in my mobile app or bill invoice. What is this?
W.E.F Feb 2026, Roam Guard, a new feature, automatically absorbs the cost of your first 10 minutes of incoming roaming calls each month while you’re overseas to help prevent bill shock; any incoming time beyond 10 minutes and all outgoing roaming calls are charged at standard pay‑per‑use roaming rates.

2. Same for VIVIFI
https://help.vivifi.me/hc/en-us/articles/360047874834-Current-Promotions

Enjoy a monthly recurring allowance of 10 minutes of incoming roaming calls at worldwide destinations. Once the 10-minute incoming roaming call allowance is fully utilised, standard roaming call rates will apply. All outgoing roaming calls are chargeable at prevailing standard roaming rates. Roaming charges may vary depending on the destination country and network operator.

3. Again the promotion is coordiatedby Singtel??

Nowadays most plans come with tons of roaming data and less standard international call features included on non-MNO telcos.

Anyway with FaceTime, Google Meet, Telegram and WhatsApp that allow call via data widely available there is seriously not much need international call for kids.

That such a bad plan, why not just sign up M1 MAXX $12 5G or Hi! $13/$15 5G or GOMO 5G $12 student plan?

Its recurring and easily managed than top up prepaid.

No need to pay more -- 80GB is enough.

Starhub Prepaid S plan is now a postpaid plan as per IMDA classification (up to 10 lines). Recurring payment through credit card.

I know, Starhub is trying to confused the users now that they exit the true prepaid market (other than tourist SIMs) after the migration of all Happy Prepaid Card users to the new Starhub Prepaid plans (S or L) in Nov 2025.

And now they try to redefine prepaid, not as per IMDA classifications.
https://www.starhub.com/personal/how-to/starhub-postpaid-vs-prepaid-whats-the-difference.html

Edit to add:
BTW, we have another two Starhub Prepaid S 5G plan at S$3 per month, as part of the Happy Prepaid Card migration offer. Unfortunately the 3rd line used by my daughter did not get the offer.
