Hi. I dropped my iPhone 4 recently on the ground in Batam and it has scratches on the screen and the sides. And now the phone cannot play sounds through the speaker below. I have to use earpiece or mini speakers. Any idea how I can get it replaced with a new one? I am with Singtel.

Just wondering, I brought the additional year of Apple protection plan which extend the warranty to 2 years. Does that mean if my phone spoils in the second year, I still can go Singtel Comcenter for 1 to 1 exchange?

Yes correct. Provided it's not cosmetic damage such as screeen crack. If screen crack etc, need pay $350 for replacement even though in warranty.

just to check, if bring the iphone to singtel for exchange, would they check against the serial number? Have 2 iphones, 1 from apple store and 1 from singtel. If bring the apple store set to exchange (buggy), can go through? thanks in advance for advice.

I have a faulty home button. May I check is the claim centre for iPhone 4 at Singtel Comcentre? Do they help to backup my data or do I have to do it myself before going there?

Nope, you have to DIY back up. They do not back up for you. They are only in charge of replacing the device.

The entrance is by the side where the Killiney Kopitiam is location, not the main Sales Centre.

singtel basic plan vs iflexi

Hi. I am considering whether it is more worth it to get a basic plan + broadband or iflexi plan. Here is the breakdown that I've done.

1) ione super value + talkmore + sms more + broadband
= 380 mins outgoing free, 650 sms, 2gb broadband at $34.38

Above combinations but with 10gb broadband at $39.38

2) ione plus + smsmore + broadband
= 100 mins outing free, 500 sms 2gb @ $34.36
OR
above combinations but with 10gb @ $48.39
Or
above combinations but with talkmore and 2gb broadband @ $48.39
OR
above combinations but with talkmore and 10gb broadband @ $44.48

3) 3g iflexi lite
100 mins 550sms 12 gb @ $39.90

4) 39 flexi plus
200mins 650sms 12gb @ $59.90



From above, it seems 1) and 2) are cheaper and better than having iflexi plan. Is that so? or there is something that i 've overlooked in my calculations?
