talkmore/ smsmore is the value added services provided by singtel. each service is charged at $5.35 per month. talkmore allows u to enjoy 200mins of additional call time and sms more addtional 600 sms.

if we make a comparision between getting ione plus + talkmore + broadband 10gb = 300mins talktime, 500sms, 10gb @ 44.48
VS
3g flexi plus= 200mins talktime, 650sms and 12gb @$59.90

isnt the former combination more worth it? since we will be getting more talktime, and the talkmore vas can be cancelled after 3mths if it is not neccessary and the broadband 10gb is more than enough.

wrong. talkmore and sms more not applicable to ione super value. pls read all the clause.

some term is the the basic provided are utilised before this VAS kick in, if it seem complicated, PLS READ ALL THE CLAUSE.

i lazy to point out all the nonsense clause which singtel will have and their non per sec billing.

u only see the overall not the fine detail, so pls work that out personally =)

TalkMore allows SingTel Mobile customers to call all SingTel Mobile (postpaid and prepaid) lines and fixed lines* by paying a monthly subscription of $5.35 inclusive of GST.

SMSMore is only applicable to iPlans (except iOne SuperValue), iFlexi Plans and 3G Flexi Plans, for local SMS made to any SingTel fixed and mobile lines only, including mobile numbers from other operators that have been transferred to SingTel Mobile and fixed line numbers from other operators that have been transferred to SingTel.

Hi, i just got iphone 4 replacement set. But the model different with the first one, its mc318ll.
How do i know its still factory unlocked or its locked to at&t carrier? Coz i want to update it to ios 5.1.1 but i affraid after updated, it will lock to at&t carrier. Anyone help?

Won't get locked if your replacement set is from SG.

singtel iphone warranty

My understanding is that within 1st yr, you'll get 1-1 exchange with a refurbished set. Is that correct?

Someone told me that you'll get 1-1 exchange with a brand new set if it is within one month. Is that true? I think most telco/brand give 1-1 exchange with brand new set only if the problem occur within first 1/2 weeks.....

Very likely Telcos will replace a refurbished set for you. Nowadays, them don't really replacing brand new iPhone once you step out of the shop.

Just for info, iPhone refurbished set will have the model number ending with "LL"...

I thought it is a common policy for telcos to provide brand new 1-1 exchange, at least for the first 7 days.....Looks like now we have to spend half an hour at the telco shop to check our new handset thoroughly before leaving...

today bought iphone5
at the store open 3 set, 2 had scuffgate and so i settle for my 1st set which have a blue dot at the antennate stripe but at least its not a scuffgate

then i went to comcenter to exchange, their iphone came in a white box, with seal over that have serial number

they told me its a new set, i find it hard to believe
any tots? apparently i did make it clear i dun want refurb, because my set i bought it today only, but still cant trust them completely

it's a new refurb set.

u cant get new,sealed in retail box iphones when u go exchange.

the only time u can get a new phone is at the point of sales at the shop. once u leave that shop, all exchanges are refurb ones

if your refurb has no outer defects and works, then why not???? refurb has higher QC than normal, since they are gonna be sold/exchange back to customers..

I doubt even singtel or the other 2 telcos will know if it's refurbished set or not. Apple is apparently very strict with their exchange so I am sure the telcos were instructed to just use those set that are in the plain white box for any exchange, don't think they will tell them if it's brand new or refurbished set. That's why when I went for an exchange the other time, the guy say it's sealed exchange set direct from apple but he never said it's a brand new set, guessing that he also not sure if it's totally new.

I exchange because of the poorer than expected battery life. Kinda regretting it now because I checked the serial number and the exchange set was manufactured 3 weeks before my original one and also the battery life is the same as before. Not to mention the phone s/n doesn't match the box anymore.

what he is trying to say is the refurbish set he got from telco no longer matches the serial number on the original retail box and that will greatly reduce the resale value of the device.
