I've tried disabling all 5ghz n only use 2.4ghz + reset network settings. still e same. devices on iOS 7.1.2 normal latency but devices on iOS 8.0.2 exhibit high latency n dropped packets.

really a bummer. bobian gotta patiently wait for nx release hopefully fixes this issue.

Just a random thought have you tried using it naked without casing and does the latency persist? Alternatively did you restart the router?

Sorry just to check, is anyone facing this issue whereby the person whom your calling put you on hold and when he resumed, he won't be able to hear you speaking despite you shouting over the microphone?!

You muted your mic is it?
Never experienced this problem, never came across it either.

Update on iPhone 6, auto brightness toggle button disappeared. Previously the auto brightness did not seem to function when I toggled it on in iOS 8, but now it's the toggle switch is gone in iOS 8.0.2. Did a hard rest, restored with the iOS 8.0.2 to no avail. Now even worst, sometimes my screen turn red upon reset then after a few resets can boot up. Probably have to bring it in to the service centre.

if still e same after a restore, likely a hardware issue.

iOS 8 is buggy as it can get on my 6+

- Home-screen sometimes get stuck in the wrong orientation
- Tap on a image on iMessage and the caption would say "FULLSIZERENDER"
- "Hey Siri" is sometimes unresponsive.
- Saying "Hey Siri" sometimes make the entire lock screen go crazy. You'll have to manually slide to unlock it and bring up Siri again to fix the screen.
- Some of the layouts in the menu is wrong/overlapping/getting sliced off

I feel that if ur device on ios8 is fine, most likely after updating shud be fine
It seems like those initially having probs, some gets inherited even after updating
