See so much problems I still dunno want to update or not.. Ip6+ user..

ios 8 no problem when i bought.

updated to 8.0.2 today, unable to detect any network. Wasted time to factory reset the phone.

Advise to wait for stable patch...no point updating if your phone is working just fine :(

Got some weird problems like cannot unlock my phone cos lock screen unresponsive.
But if press and hold power button to shut down, screen will be responsive.

Eh... Were the previous iOS updates as unstable and full of bugs..?

This is kinda unlike Apple who's been prideful about its products that just works.

7, 7.0-7.03 had crazy animation task switching lags and springboard crashes

Still on ios 8 with my IP6. Not prepared to make the jump to 8.0.2 yet, going by some feedback in this thread. Those facing problems with 8.0.2, did u update via iTunes or OTA?

I was facing wifi issue on 5s (8.0.2) but when I restored my backup to new 6+ THEN upgrade to 8.0.2, I didn't encountered any issue with wifi.

Feel like it's due to hardware conflict with iOS 8 on 5/5s but some encountered it with 6/6+ too.

Wifi speeds still slow like a turtle on iPhone 5s. Not sure if my 4G is affected as well. Anyone using iOS 8.0.2 on 5s?

From The Last Digit (posted on Sept 28):

Now, when it looks like the situation is under control, users who updated the device to iOS 8.0.2 began to complain about various glitches following the update.

Users’ posts in Apple’s support communities forum reveal many threads on various new issues faced by the device owners. A few users complained about losing connectivity with phone calls and text messages, a few hours after updating the software to iOS 8.0.2. One of the users posted “After updating to iOS 8.0.2, I have problems with my cellular reception on iPhone 5s and no service appears every few minutes…”

A few users posted about poor WiFi connectivity on iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Air, where those devices’ Internet speed slows down and sometimes it becomes “zero.” They have also pointed that the rebooting of these devices solves the issue temporarily. Many users' posts related to the slow WiFi connectivity on their iPhone 5s following the iOS 8.0.2 update.

Apart from WiFi and cellular connectivity issues, a few threads reveal a problem in the Safari browser, random crashes and Bluetooth connectivity as well. Apple hasn’t released any statements regarding these issues so far. It’s virtually inevitable that the update causes some glitches, as millions of Apple iPhones and iPads are receiving the iOS 8.0.2 update right now. We can’t judge the strength and stability of the latest update on these threads, as those could be isolated incidents, and maybe, widespread.

always via iTunes for me.

So far, 2x 6+, 1x iPad mini, 1x iPad4 - no problems.

Anyone facing lag after hanging up a call? Mine takes about 2-3 secs to return to home screen.
