No one's gotta read the entire list. Ctrl/⌘ + F to look for the information you may need.

FAQ

1. How come is a FAQ ah? How you know is frequently asked? That frequent meh?
lol man, I don't know bro/sis.

2. Where to find my bookmarks/subscribed threads?

Subscribed threads are now called "Watched Threads" --- for the purpose of being notified when there are updates in that discussion. You can "watch" threads or forums.

Here's where you can find your "Watched Threads":-

3. Then how do use bookmarks?

Bookmarks also exist. This is for adding entries to your list, but you don't want to receive any notifications. Note that you can only bookmark posts, but it shouldn't matter since a post is seen as part of the entire discussion thread.

4. How to view the last post?

Click on the last posted date, on the right hand side of the table (e.g "1 Minute Ago" or "A moment ago")

5. Can I sort the posts in a thread?

No (for now, hopefully).

6. I want to view last post details when I click on the thread link!

For now, it's going to bring you to the last post you've read.
A workaround is to click on the last posted time (point 4)

7. Too much notifications. customise it under...

"Receive a notification when someone…"

8. Ninja Mode (privacy)

9. Remove trending threads

On the top bar, click on this option icon, then, unselect "Show trending"

10. Alerts Notification Center

You may view all your alerts/notifications in the following link

Alternatively, you can visit this page by clicking on the bell, and click "Show All"

11. Summary of the threads you have contributed or posted in.

12. Search all post by or how to find all threads created authored by a user

You need to navigate to the user's control panel and look for the following —

Random Tips and Tricks

1. Once you have drafted your message, you can hit your keyboard

⌘ + enter (Mac) or Ctrl + enter (Windows) to submit the post

2. Quickly create a thread

3. Tag/Mention someone with @

For example

Code:
@hwzadmin

4. Quickly quote someone

Highlight the text in a post, click quote

5. Embed YouTube/Image/gif/Reddit

The brand new WYSIWYG editor will automatically embed images and YouTube media for you

6. PCW leader boards. Who has the most post counts! IS IT STILL LIVE JIEJIE?

You can find it here!

Mobile App

Basically, the whole forum is now a progressive web app (PWA). iPhone users are a bit out of luck, we don't get features like push notifications compared to our Android counterparts.

1. iPhone Users, use Safari, add to home screen.

2. Android users, can see refer to this thread!

3. Third party apps

AFAIK, third party apps, until they are updated. Will not work.

Hm..... will there be a separate section where you can see who quoted you and who mentioned/paged you via @Function? just like how you can currently see reactions received.

or its not possible?

u use the old forum for 20 years, use the new one for 1 day... how can compare like that? :(

If there's a need for guide on using forum, the forum is not user friendly or intuitive. :(

Not really. After using the same forum for 20 years and faced with a completely new front and back-end, there's a lot that's different and one can't choose to keep things the same as that might necessitate more work than necessary or would require more tweaking to get it closer to the preferred state.

We'll do what we can to help our users :)

Is it this section?

You can see who has quoted/mentioned you.
 Vijay quote moi.

Oh ya. I was just wondering whether it could have its own separate place, just like Reactions received. I set alerts currently to see newly posted threads on watched forums. And thats lumped together with mentions and quotes.

So if like lets say I don't log in for 3 days. Then when I log back in, I can see like 30 alerts, 20 for new threads, 7 quotes, 3 mentions. I don't need to sort through all the alerts to see the quotes and mentions, if there is a separate section for quotes and mentions, like Reactions received.

Hmm..... actually we receive alerts right from last login session? Gonna log out now and relog tmrw afternn to see how many alerts and how messy it can be.

Would be useful to have a ‘First Page’ and ‘Last Page’ for faster navigation.

How do I search for posts/comments I have made? Right now I can only find threads I have made...
