Best price i saw was a HK set from Expansys on Qoo10 $329.

Local seller on Lazada for $359 E nation. they said they give 1 year warranty and handle any returns.

I am deciding between these headphones and the sennheiser pcx 550... any opinions? I love sennheiser but i haven't tested a pair, and reviews dont give me much faith.

A way cheaper alternative to the rather expensive Dekoni ear pads.
Loads of other earpad replacements, of which some have sheepskin versions

I used the suede Dekoni replacemnet pads and found the sound becomes slightly lower. The sound signature has been changed.

It is not so hot and more comfortable to wear like not pressing against my right ear as compared to when using the original Sony earpads which also becomes hot. Both will have sweat after long wearing though

I own the Sennheiser PCX-550, the Sony WH-1000M2 and M3.

No fight lah...stick with Sony WH-1000M3.

I am now testing Bose NC700.

Yes but I guess that's normal. Maybe can check how much the replacement pads are at Sony service centre.

made sure the that inner foam layer is stuffed under the ear pads correctly, and all the clips are fully inserted?

Not using Sony app because I'm using Huawei phone. If I install the Sony app I'll never get LDAC codec

that is weird
but you do need the app to run the optimizer after changing the pads
