You didn't measure the size of tv before buying ? 43 inches is definitely a small tv, entry level.

Cause old TV was 40" and my old room was bigger, so I thought maybe 43" slightly bigger can liao..

Nvm ba. come liao put up see how it looks. If not happy then sell and buy 49"

Disagreed with you that buying cheaper equal to risk.
In our part of world, many times product prices you see already bundle with lots of other item eg salesman comission, free bee's etc. So is up to individual dealer and buyer to set for the final agreeable price.

Sometume, even you buy at list price at some of these major store does not necessary give you best bargains, worse is they sell you display set as new.

Certain brand, because of logo or to many between layer. Even product looks similar, you need to pay more.

That's right. Quite a portion of selling price goes to commission, and profit. Is up to consumer to do some home work and get best bargain.
Thus is why some find purchase online is another option as you minus salesman layer.
Buying at cheaper price does not necessary means lousy quality.

Old TV Wil look bigger due to big bezels... Now the new tv bezel so slim.. The tv may look small even though the screen size is bigger...

Hmm any suggestions? Can’t decide between Z9D or x900f
Quite a diff in price leh, how to compare?

Am using X9000F and quite happy. Bought for $3100 but i think now drop to $2999. Full array LED at that price cant be beat i think. Was watching Doom on starhub. Lots of dark scenes with lights from rifle mounted flash lights. Looked great IMHO.

If thinking of buying a Sony android TV, i strongly urge such buyers to either buy the A9F or Z9F or wait awhile for future models that incorporate the latest SOC which is a mediatek MT5893. It is similar to a Snapdragon 835 clocked at 60% of its potential (still very fast).

Older Sony TVs are having the very much older MT5890 which is very very very slow and can't even play high-resolution video files without lagging. This processor has not changed since 2015 and is in all Sony android TVs from then to this year excluding the A9F and Z9F.

The difference in the OS performance between the A9F and older Sony Android TVs is extremely extremely huge.
I cannot emphasise this point enough.

Buyers should check your own needs.
Picture quality or running apps.
YMMV. Buying a TV with poorer picture quality with a faster OS may not be better than an older OS with better picture quality.

Envy you guys. Still using 8 years old 40” Sony living room. Have another 10 years old 32” bedroom. Now see the OLED is out of my league.

Never mind, tech comes and goes, who knows by the time you are ready for buying new tvs and the 8k pops in at favourable prices.

Oh that's interesting! I was bothered by the slow apps and UI on my x9000e. Settled easily with a nvidia shield :D
