For Sony, B series is 2014 models, and C series is 2015 series (which is by now half new.. since it is available since a few months ago and announced even earlier, sometimes around first quarter this year, if I remember correctly).

600 and 800 are 2 different series with different feature set, and different price range - 600 is cheaper. Depending on your usage, the new Android TV platform available on some of the Sony mid-range and flagship series this year, may or may not be a feature that is worth the money, to be honest. You might want to consider your mum's preference and go big with the older model. :)

Don't expect the sony android tv to do everything exactly like what u used on tablet or smartphone. Some apps r not found or work at all. For example. Toggle.

If u intend to use lot of android apps on the sony tv. U might be disappointed.

For me .i bought the 75x8500c and i used it mainly for my ps4 and movie watching. I don't really care about those android stuff.

Yes, the new Anriod system is mych slower too. So if you do not need those Andriod application. Stay with old model us a better choice.

90% of the time my mom n sisters is the one who watches the tv. I only watch the TV in the living room during sat/sun... or sometimes play games, watch anime inside my room

I got a 40" Sony LCD TV inside my bedroom. I connect my PS4 to play games and connect my Viewqwest TV using vpn - so that I can watch Netflix n other stuffs

Can you sideload android apk just like in Android mobile? Means there is an option to allow unknown sources in security settings.

I didnt try but it might be able to use this method, hopefully some users can share about it. When i bought the tv ,the sale guy told me he would help me to install some good apps thru his usb drive if i wanted to.

Using CT-380, good for surround sound, gaming and movies.
However music performance is acceptable.
HT-NT3 is more for music, surround sound, gaming and movies.
Depend on your usage, if you are playing high resolution audio
than get the HT-NT3.

If not just CT-780 or below depending on which Sony Bravia TV or inch TV
you are using.
Sony brochure have compatibility chart for sound bar and Sony Bravia TV
so you ought to take a look.

If not you can ask the staff, they can advice you.
They will first ask how big is your TV.

Oh I checked before. I ordered a 55x8500c which is compatible.

Thanks sounds like a good soundbar to try out
