How many people does does it take to do a wall mount for a 43inch TV ? and do they charge differently for those fixed wall mount and those mount with movable arms ?

some also charge more if the height is higher.

Best denki sales man gave me a flat rate of $100 for wall mount and installation. the wall mount is those with arms . you think it's a good deal ?

The Sony guy quoted me $50 for additional wall mount service.

Went to mustafa and 75x8500c is $6389! Wall mount and installation free. I asked whether the 4 x 3d glasses. Remote and hdmi is included and the saleman said yes.

Did you buy that tv? I am also considering that model.

1 person is enough.
Yes, those mounts that can flex are usually more expensive than basic ones

I thought that most throw in free wall mounting with purchase of a new TV?

Most got free wall mount but installation need to pay extra or if you get third party wall mount , also ddifferent charge. Now I thinking just mount myself. Just get a friend to help. Drilling into plywood should be easier right ....?

Mustafa selling 43x8300c for 1379. Cheapest I think so far.

Hi guys, quick question here. I'm thinking of upgrading my current living room tv which is a 46" led 7500 series to the Sony 55x8500c, and move the 46" into the master bed room. Do you guys think this is feasible and a huge upgrade?

A question for the owners: Does the W800C series come with a recording function?

A check on the operating instructions (http://www.sony.com.sg/support/product/kdl-55w800c) shows that the Au/NZ models come with the feature.
I see there are a number of happy and not so happy owners of W800C in this thread. Just a yes/no answer will do. Add sufficient no of .... instead of typing 10 char:)

I was told to update the firmware from their website. I haven't tried it out since my actual TV set have patches of clouding. They claimed to exchange a "new" set for me. The exchanged set turns out to be a used one, 12 hours of usage and 68 times of booting on.

So I've paid my money on a used set? Disappointing.

How did you tell your usage hours?
What model is yours?
Did you ask for 1 more exchange by showing the usage hours to the delivery person?

Thought of getting Sony 55x8500c but worry about the restart problem. Have Sony solved the restart problem?

Guess I was lucky to have a new set. I checked after one week of using and it shows 45 hrs, which work out to be almost the hours of viewing for a week.

Sent from HTC One Max using GAGT

Hiya, how did you check for the usage?

I have had the tv since yesterday and updated to the latest firmware. No restart issue.
