I was thinking of buying another 2 but because it can't stream one vid which my 2 other LG TV can, I am reconsidering.
That signage video of yours is it? Then really deal-breaker, i.e. I think you have to fall back on a confirm-working solution.

Even though you have a 1Gbps subscription, actual speed (throughput) you get will be limited by the weakest link in the overall connection. If the nic speed of the tv set is 300Mbps, for example, that would be the typical speed (the 175Mbps and 94Mbps) you get, assuming your router has a faster speed. Generally, throughput is about half of the lower rated speed of the router and wireless device...
Actually I'm more of curious instead of really complaining. I'm very positive the TV is
specifically hooking up my wireless at
AC (instead of 802.11n; & also because I verify which SSID the TV is connecting to). So theoretically, it should be able to hit at least 433Mbps for local data (of course, the speedtest I'd shown is testing against Singapore but still external servers).
I'll try again & see if I can repeat my findings.
Ultimately it is ironic if a LAN point is reserved for the TV (what I did); & I can get faster bandwidth by giving the TV a WLAN instead of wired LAN
...How about you trying it out?
I actually did (try connecting to a AC WLAN that isn't broadcasting its SSID); but didn't succeed. I asked the question because I wish to know if the TV has no such capability or if it is due to my wireless access point configuration.
However, the remarkable thing is, IIRC, the TV has no issue connecting to
hidden 2.4GHz WLAN &
visible 5GHz(AC) WLAN.
