Nope, dun think so cos Samsung has their own standards and the new smart gear no longer using android OS so why developers want to develop apps for samsung.

Samsung gear is actually an android OS. U can install normal apps on the gear.

Gear 2 is different. Use a new OS build on top of android. Guess sony smart watch also the same ba. So both cant install normal android apps.

If u want a pretty watch with lot of nice watch faces, then don't open it. Go for Samsung gear.

If u want see notifications from non samsung phone, then u can open it. For me I use it pair with my z2.

Many users asked him its below $10 with apply which is reasonable. He hunt for hwz fanny and smartwatch2 users it not about product its the efforts and skills he given to us

We can buy sp from ebay and other online sources for cheap.
But we cannot buy advice(honest true to heart type) or service online (at cheap prices)

It's like going to ikea, u can go for the value price of buy and bring home install ur self or you can queue up, wait, pay and have them deliver and install.

I won't use the word chop carrots though, sim lim sq those ah beng shops i will say chop carrot.

actually i get the screen protector the my z2 back n front, at the same time custom make for the watch. so they charge cheaper for me ba.
is a small shop at 3rd floor of compass point beside kiddy palace

Sorry for asking a noobie question but can I pair the smart watch 2 with my Redmi? I was going thru the Sonymobile website and it seems like this watch only connects thru NFC which is not available on the Redmi.

Can connect thru Bluetooth. Go to mi market download Sony connect and use Bluetooth to make connection. No promise it will work.

i had successfully connected but the installed app can't work.

u wouldnt see any msg, gmail, etc....

You need to turn on those apps in the accessibility menu under settings.

I am sorry it won't work on redmi.

Such as calender reminder, call handling, email, facebook. Installed in phone but it don't sync to Redmi.

Oh, you are using with RedMi then it might not work with your phone.
