Hmmm the SBH52 can remote playlist right?
Was thinking if it(SW2) would work with less smart headsets like my MDR1R-BT or Jaybird Bluebuds X in terms of remote playback.

Is there any support for Spotify remote at the moment?

I don't see why it shouldn't work. Its basically controlling your phone direct. Then the phone BT change back to any headset..

Any other comments on the watch? I'm liking what I see so far other than the price.

Frankly I find SBH52 very useful. It can function as a phone to make calls (from call logs), receive calls, see msgs (SMS, Whatsapp). The only con is it's alert sound is a bit soft.

I paid for the extension. But after reading in xda forum, downloaded and installed watchit, imo the best watch app available in the market, plus, its free. Try it.
