any idea where i can go to buy a screen protector for my sony tablet and have the shop apply the SP for me?

Mine came free from HN. Millenia Walk no stock tho.
Sony store sure have.
You can also try Funan, the 1st floor cart store next to Ya Kun sell+paste mobile screen protectors. If they have screen protectors for Tablet S they will paste for you. The lady is quite good.

Just wana share this

Although the correct wallpaper size for Tablet S's 1280x800 screen is 1920x1408, you will find that a bit of the top part of the wallpaper will be cut off even when you adjust max the cropping size.

The trick is to do this is PORTRAIT MODE. So turn you tablet to portrait mode, then adjust the cropping size. You will be able to max out the size :D

challenger's one is pretty good @ $27 and they do help you to apply. It is extremely sticky and pastes over small dust without bubbles.

sony's one is kinda overpriced @ $40 for the same thing (imho!)

I am contemplating buying the 3G S Tablet, but the question is when.

Now Sony is having a promotion, whereby you will be given a cleaning cloth, a USB cable, a 16gb sd card and pay $19.90 to get a cradle. This promotion ends on 9th Feb 2012. This is a S$50 discount on both the 16 and 32 gb wi fi versions but not the 3G one.

I know that when it was launched, early adopters were rewarded with a screen protector and a carrying case.

Now with the Sitex coming in March, I am wondering whether Sony will have more gifts.

So I stay put now or wait for Sitex?

Hi all

Wanna check is there a workable USB charging cable in the mkt (which can be used to charge the Sony via car cigerette outlet with adaptor, other adaptors including the 3-point iphone plug adaptor, and pc/laptop).

Tks

Correction..

Pre-launch, the free gift is the case.

Cradle and screen protector, need to pay $29.

So seems like a good deal from Sony now.

Buy one of those HSBC Visa Infinite Sony Tablets on sale in HWZ. Use the savings to buy the 'free gifts' with still spare change left

On its local website, I noticed that Sony has "thrown in" a free flip case worth $49.90 for the 3G version.

I guess Sony now realised that they need to make up for the difference of $50 discount they have marked down for the wi fi version.

Very tempting now....

I think the impending launch of the Samsung 7.7 inch tab this month may hvae been a factor.

Question now is what "extras" will Sony offer during SITEX?

I will most probably get the 3G version this weekend.
