I have issue turn on wifi after my tablet s turn on after sleep. Need to shutdown and restart then my wifi can start again. Anyone experience the same thing?

Any app to recommend for wifi to switch on?

No wifi issues for me. It takes a bit longer when connecting to a new access point. But for last connected or remembered point, its connects immediately.

Is it me or homepage not very responsive after update. It only accepts quick flicks to change pages. If I try to hold and drag, it just wouldn't work.

Can anyone confirm, Sony Tablet S can charge using usb port or only can do it over the DC.

After ICS, mine picks up wifi betterer and almost immediately.
When first bought with honeycomb, it was like after wake up from sleep, need to go to settings, wifi, then the device starts searching.

Hi, can anyone tell me how can I tell if the tab is "off" or "sleep mode" without pressing the power key?

Becos if i press the power key when in sleep mode, it will show the lock screen page which is normal. But if the tab is off, and i press the power key lightly (less than 1 sec where the manual say press 3 secs to on it) it will turn on too!!

Is there another way to check? I just want to check to make sure the tab is off and don't want it to on and have to off it again.

I had issues before ics. After ics, no issue.

Hi , anybody have problem with audio.My Tablet volume is too low. is this prob with my tab or a general problem on sony tablet?

For my tablet, the volume is low for PPS.TV movie. But for games it is quite loud at the same volume setting.

So it depends, i guess.

I don't think you can. Not unless you install apps to do this.

Pressing on the ON switch quickly will do the trick. Faster than 1sec.

Poor GPS performance

I finally tried using my tablet for google offline maps but the experience is not so good.

I could not get a gps location when I place the tablet outside my flat window. It takes about 5minutes in an open field. In both cases, a Galaxy Tab is able to get location within 10sec to 2mins.

I have not try inside a car yet. But the above performance seems very poor.

Anyone have the same problem?

Bought this at Comex, anyone know if it supports microSDXC 64GB cards? Sony website mentioned something about wiping out the data if card is inserted into device. So dare not try it

Thanks for enlighten, I have successfully setup my singtel box.
Another problem is my PS3. How to setup? I try learn function it cannot find the IR TRANSMITTER from the controller. Pls help. Or can use easy recommended function?

PS3 is using BT, it does not have IR. Though I'm not sure if Sony implemented BT support for connection to PS3.
