Most important question is have you prepared the money for it?

If you can really before it, kindly sponsor the Xperia 1II for me as well ~ 😆

Pro Version is not designed for mass consumer. You need HDMI in and mmwave?

The Pro is designed for those professionals with a big sports network, etc

If all you need is an external screen, just use the app

Probably same as X1 with slight curve on sides edge.
But it is sufficiently flat to use full coverage glass that sticks fully on the display, instead only on the borders on previous models.

Aiya general Singapore public wont care what kind of name. Only know Apple and Samsung.

Most will be huh so is Sony la simi Mark II.

That's because they have not marketed their phones intensely since 2017. They splashed out on newspaper ads for the xperia xz1 then steadily reduced marketing

i just learnt of the X1M2 Pro

given the "full control of the camera", does this mean the phone can take a 30 min exposure time picture?

i think for now have to use a 3rd party app to do such nifty night sky photos tricks

The normal one also can, using the new camera software.

The X1M2 Pro is to control professional video cameras / act as a monitor / broadcast in-stadium via mmwave

It's part of the Sony Xperia 1 Mark2 announcement, in the videos, in the slides, in the press kit. It's the new camera pro app.

But, if it can take 30 minutes exposure I doubt, since sensor heat would still be an issue. Even P30pro only does 30s.
