I haven't open the box for the phone and the headphones yet, still waiting for my case and tempered glass to come first. Just to check, can the xperia gadget organizer (pouch) fit the headphones?

Yes google pay can work. Just turn on screen to tap and pay. Works for public transport also.

Did you check that Tap and Pay is set to Google Pay? It's inside settings, apps and notifications, advanced, special app access.
