Interesting, managed to replicate the issue. So you would have to had moved/copy the files within the SD card first before it show up as 0 bytes...

Weird that no one else found it...:s22:

I personally use OneDrive+Google Photo auto backup to my PC so it never occurred to me to move files around inside a phone...

Hope someone else with Nougat can try this test to see if it had been fixed...

Thanks folks for verifying this.

Tried in the debuggin mode its the same still.

To provision more info:
If one is to ,move the files from say DCIM into a sub folder, on the phone everything looks good, but when connected to the pc / mac in MTP mode these files when view form the pc in the sub folder location will show zero bytes.

So for those who create sub folders to store and later move their files please take note.

The workaround i using now is to take out the sd card and plug it direct to the pc platform.

Another way besides taking out SD card and plugging to computer direct is to move the files using Sony Album App. For some reason, Sony Album works properly and files show up properly when you connect your PC.

Of course, this only work for pictures. For other file types, I guess you have to use your PC to move to the subfolders, or take out sd card and plug to pc.

Just moved a file from DCIM folder in SD card to another folder in the SD card, plugged the phone to my PC and the file shows up fine in Windows Explorer. This was done using the Nougat firmware.

Nougat firmware hasn't been released for Singapore sets yet, so no point doing a repair via PC Companion.

I have downloaded the Nougat firmware. Unfortunately, it does not seem to improve double tap to wake. Still need to tap multiple random number of times before screen wakes up:s11:

Is it better to factory reset and install or upgrade?

For such major updates, I recommend to do a fresh install. There may be residue Marshmallow data that isn't compatible with Nougat if you don't do a fresh install. But that's just my opinion.
