lock screen issue

hi there,

anyone seems to notice that sometimes the lock screen lights up for no reason and then it doesn't go off even though there's no new notifications?

how do i disable that?

thanks in advance.

OS issue. Under Marshmallow, moving files within subfolders in SD card using file manager apps will result in the files appearing as 0 bytes when plugged into computer. Now, in 7.0, it's resolved.

lucky for u i tested today after upgrade to ver N and still see the same thing... dam bloody sad, seems like fresh install is the only choice left for me now.
Details:
Plug cable into xz and into pc / mac
selected MTP for choice
open file manager on desktop platform and noted the size of pictures files on sd card is 0.
Copying files over to the desktop will file as well.

For x2 tab to wake issue yes it still persist as well

I did a factory reset directly after upgrading.

If you're looking at your old files formerly transferred under 6.0, I think they may still show up as 0 bytes. Didn't have a chance to test as I deleted all those 0 bytes files last time.

After your factory reset, why not try out to transfer new files? It should work properly.

Btw, for me after reset, there is no more mtp option. It's called 'Transfer file' or something like that now

That's what i did in the end -> repair the software .......
Yes test now all is working, those which used to be 0 bytes had been in their original size shown and can be copied like always.

Seems MTP option is the same thing samsung suffered too with the 0 bytes.

Thanks for following up

Don't swipe down twice to open the full shortcuts. If you do just one swipe down, and directly tap the wifi or mobile icon, it will work as per marshmallow.

Didn't know the mobile data icon shortcut shows usage info now. Quite handy IMO...

Which area lag? GUI? or in apps? Also are you using screen protector? Maybe try a different charging cable?

the entire phone.. from performance, keyboard response and screen sensitivity. as the screen works fine when the phone is not under charging, doubt it has anything to do w the screen protector.

Was just thinking maybe there is some funky screen protector that may conduct some form of electricity that may affect the screen performance...:s13::s22:

But anyway, do try a different charging cable/charger. If it still happen, you may need to send in to service center...

My unit doesn't become lag or unresponsive touch screen during charging. I often use the phone when it was charging.
