Had only used Sony UCH10 QC2.0 for more than a year on my Z3+ and Z4 Tablet, seem fine til today so far...

Currently using Sony UCH12W QC3.0 on my XZ. Think should be fine as long as QC2.0/3.0 certified.

Ic. Is it faster? The original charger of 1.5a is very slow especially towards the end. The current is very low. I thinking to get tronsmart or aukey qc3.0. Which is better? Thanks.

Yes, it is definitely faster to around 70-80%. But it will still be slow towards the end as it was purposely done in such a way to protect the battery.

Do read up on how lithium battery works and you will understand the reasons.

I mean compare the original charger and qc3.0 charger. Original charger will take around 2.5 hr to full whereas qc3.0 will take around an hr. I think towards the end will slow down the end is due to the hp and not battery. It is to keep the battery in a better condition.

Using XPower qc3.0, roughly 1% per minute, slows down at the end.

ic thanks for the info. so it will take around 100 mins to full charge. guess around 80% will slow down the current to prolong the battery life. other hp with qc3 and similar battery capacity took around 70 mins.

Hmm, note that the 1% per min rate is while I am actually using the phone. Never tried timing a full charge from zero while phone is inactive.

glad to know this. guess will take around an hr to full charge which is good as the original charger is kind of slow.

original is 1.5a only. Qc3.0 will cut the charging by around half. I can't stand the slow charge. My old z2 is not like this. Xz will slow the charging towards the end to save the battery. I think the cable will have different. Best to use the cable that came with it. China is powerful. Lol.

yes of cos.. it wil charge much faster compare to normal charger
u using qc3.0? I use iPad charger on iPhone and the current is 1.1a. Slightly higher than original charger. IPhone is design for 1a and will not charge faster with higher current charger. Qc3.0 is much faster due to the regulating of voltage and current?
