And the benching continues!

Today:

Bench 100 7x5
Hip thrusters 40 5x8
Bicep Curls 10 5x8
Plate loaded machine rows 70 5x15

After benching for 4 days in a row, at 80%+ and high volume, my chest very tired now ... Very strange feeling, like when you go for a long run and your legs very exhausted, but instead it's at your pecs ... maybe need to wear some support! hahahaha

So... the fatigue has caught up with me. I stupidly tried to do the heavy squats, after the heavy bench and the accessory front squat and lunges, and it was a mess. What I could do easily over the weekend, was really tough, struggled to get through the reps, when I was supposed to do a 6x6. The last rep of each set was basically a muscle up, form totally off ... sigh.

Time for rest and prehab

Last workout before a break

Squat 140 5x6, 4
Bench 105 10x3

Failed on my sixth set of squats. Oh well. Still happy with progress, was going a top set of 3 reps at this weight, and today managed to do 34 reps in total.

Didn't expect that the hotel will have a decent gym so I managed to squeeze in a quick bench session

Yeah man, front squat is a new exercise for me, so I am still learning the groove. I find that the balance and movement patterns are quite different to the back squat.

I love the front squat. For people with back injuries, it's way more forgiving on the back than the back squat, and it works the quads more.
