Actually in MY ( lowyat Fourm ), they all keep recommend S330 instead of C3. ( take note both cost the same at MY )
they actually compare S330 in the range of GMX 2.1.
S330 is using internal AMP compare to C3 ext.

I went to Alphawave test it S330.. sound super disappointing.... clarity is not there.
Ask to try on mine own source ( iphone ) but the sales ger can't seem to get the correct plug.
She manage to find 1 but when connected, S330 no sound but instead the JBL creature sounded off.
Plug it back into the spliter, both S330/JBL got sound.. guess they spilt the source too many time le.

IMHO,
1) Alphaware source is being split till cmi. ( have to try to plug in to S330 volume jack as i dun have the cable that time.)
2) Different build on S330 compare to MY? it cost around $180 at MY for S330. super exp. :s22:

OT: DigitalHub going to be at this coming PC show ? :s13:

haha i know, in LYN forum, people kept recommending S330. maybe over there got more treble-freak rather than bass-heads?

i also listened to S330 at alphawave and challenger. the one in challenger sounds better, but it was 199 at that time.
and in alphawave, have dropped to 129. so i guess no difference with MY, just that there more demand.

imo, i said klipsch gmx > C3 > S330

the price here judges, gmx cost 279 while s330 only 129.
in MY, both priced for RM400. :X klipsch gmx there so cheap sia...

one thing bad about GMX is the bizzz sound when not playing song...
but the sound is good sia.

good la the GMX.
but the ifi is much better, only the ifi is not as good as GMX when placed in small rooms.

in larger room, like my living room. for instance, just now receive complain from above...
u kno what? he dont complain for the sound too loud, or hear anything... he complaint several times, because of the floor above shaking. siao sia, ifi sub can penetrate concrete above. :X

I am definitely agree with you. Roth audoblob2 is the value one, but unfortunately it has been discontinued. So AegoM is definitely the answer of the dilemma. And don't forget to be paired with a musical soundcard that called Onkyo Wavio SE200LTD, it is from Japan.
