i am also considering canada because of the more disciplined gun culture (not sure if this is true, just a personal view) and canada seems more techy than aust, which is what i need to pursue a car hobby if i can settle there

car ?? i tot thats usa for u .... where u get to see all the tiong kias zhng cars

us too much gun culture. i see their govt ...so overweight :s22:
then again. I don't really have a solid plan to stay in canada.

my business plan is actually more likely to work in aust than in canada due to existing competition.

 do u know that there is 1600 visa (i hope i remember correctly) for Australians to get US PR....eventually green card and barely any australians apply for that visa.

imagine no one to fight for the allocation of H1B1 visas from the rest of the world

H1B1 is only allocated for Chileans and Singaporean
Rest of the world fight what when they don't quality?
Unused h1b1 returns to h1b where the world is fighting for it

Congrats to the Liberals for the Canadian elections! Time to keep a close watch on what're the changes to the immigration policies under the new government. Fingers crossed.

yupseems like Justin trudeau have more proposed lax immigration policies than harper. harper focused more on economic migration which made it hard unless u have the right set of skills.

JT plans to make foreign spouses of canadians get PR faster and to restore residency time credit for intl students.

very shocked by the results actually. alo of people were ABC (anything but conservative), but JT emerged with the most seats. Canadians mean what they say when they want to vote Harper out, unlike Sgreans who have whining to vote PAP out, but every election is the same.

lets hope JT does a good job ... and see if he cause more canadian taxpayers money lol.
