Ideally you should use invest your SRS in STI ETF and use cash to invest in global equities.

However, if you MUST invest 100% into global equities with your SRS then yes, this fund is the best option. It's slightly cheaper overall than even the next best alternative (dimension via endowus). If you purchase through POEMS or DollarDex, then the initial charge is 0. Annual management fee is included into the expense ratio.

Why is it better to invest in STI ETF if we're using SRS? And global using cash?
Is it more towards managing the currency risk?
Will be topping up my SRS account soon to do my first contribution.

second this. I would prefer to use SRS for local ETFs (STI ETF, SREIT ETF, or NikkoAM IG Corp Bond ETF or ABF SGD Bond ETF), since I do need some local exposure in your portfolio. Since you can't buy overseas listed ETFs via SRS. Though there are robos that allow you to by-pass this e.g. StashAway and Endowus, I rather DIY than paying additional level of management fees, not knowing if their strategy works better in the long-run.

Prefer using Cash for overseas listed ETFs.

Between stashaway and endowus, which would you choose, which profile and why? Please exclude lowest and highest risk for stashaway as well as 0/100 and 100/0 for endowus.

Generally stashaway's performance seems to be the best so far amongst all the robos.

But I still wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket, I'm using Stashaway and DBS digiportfolio now. Thinking of trying endowus with some CPF OA money.

Hi guys, assuming you go with Endowus for SRS investment, how is their 0.4% going to be deducted every quarter?

Will the 0.4% be deducted via our cash banking account? The reason I am asking is because if eg, I invest $15k yearly into SRS for 20 years, the total sum invested will be $300k. Assuming no change in prices, do I need to fork out an additional $1,200 in cash to pay their mgt fees?

Or will the 0.4% be deducted from the AUM every quarter? Thanks.

It wont be deducted from your bank acc. Probably there is eg 1% cash allocation in your portfolio for them to deduct fee

Would like to survey the experts here. Between these 2 robos for srs, which would you go for and which risk profile?

IMO there are only two things worth investing in with SRS.

1. STI ETF
2. Lion Global All Seasons Fund (Growth), or Lion Global Infinity Global Stock Index Fund

How's the Lion Global Infinity Global Stock Index Fund so far? Did you get it?

They said on seedly before and some of their YouTube webinar that it's in development already.

But what's the benefit of the app? Their website works so well on mobile already. I rather they cut fees than waste time and effort maintaining an app. Waste resources.

If EndowUs has app I would give it a shot.

I think i will do srs portfolio with endowus instead of stashaway. Prefer sgd-hedged bonds and cost is slightly lower.

Hi, I am new to investing and would like to start investing with an SRS account + Regular Savings Plan (e.g. OCBC Blue Chip Investment Plan). I have a few questions:

- Since the shares bought via SRS cannot be transferred into my CDP account, does this mean that I cannot switch to another Regular Savings Plan once I start investing? For instance, I am looking at applying for the OCBC Blue Chip Investment plan as they offer lower commission fees when investing small amounts < 30 years old. Assuming that I buy Nikko AM Singapore
STI ETFs for the next few years, will I be able to transfer all my investments to another Savings Plan (e.g. DBS Invest-Saver) after 30 years old, given that I will still be using my SRS account to fund my investments?
- Are there any benefits of using a Regular Savings Plan like the OCBC Blue Chip Investment Plan to buy STI ETFs over buying through a broker the same amount (e.g. $100) every month?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Afaik, you cannot buy dbs invest saver using SRS.

Thanks for the reply! In that case, it seems that the OCBC BCIP is the only Regular Savings Plan that allows investing with SRS funds. Also, is there any benefits to investing SRS funds with a Regular Savings Plan? Am I better off just buying the stocks myself every month? :s12:

SRS provides additional tax shield regardless of whether you do RSP or use it for something else.

Check out the minimum brokerage fees for using SRS to buy your stocks every month vs RSP.

Thanks everyone. Really enjoyed reading this thread.

In the beginning of 2020, I invested 80% of my first SRS contribution into Lion Global All Seasons (Growth) through FSM and the rest into a fund Franklin Biotechnology Discovery Fund Class A (Acc) SGD through DBS and got overall return of about 15% in the end of Dec 2019. Now I am cashed out all the investment and the money is sitting back in my DBS SRS account with my 2nd year SRS contribution totalling $33k

I am considering to go with INFINITY GLOBAL STOCK INDEX SGD fund.

Question 1:
I know FSM has a quarterly platform fees hence I will not hold the fund in FSM. But should I purchase this fund in FSM and then transfer to DollarDex that doesn’t charge a platform fees?

Question 2:
Is it possible to RSP this fund in order to hedge the risk or it’s better off to purchase the fund at one go? If RSP, which broker or fund platform should I go with?
